This morning a group of concerned residents in the the Tropicana, PJ area held a picket protest on the proposed Tropicana International School to be built on a piece of land in front of Casa Tropicana Condominium traffic light.

Residents from the various communities around here – Tropicana TR, Riana Green Condo, Casa Tropicana, Avenue 23 etc….. all assembled near the land where it was proposed to build the unwanted international school that doesn’t serve the majority of residents here… Malaysian residents I mean. There’s already an international school in the nearby Kota Damansara…why is there a need to build another one?? The SJK (C) Damansara opposite of Riana Green Condo already created a lot of traffic mess but at least that school is catering to the needs of Malaysians.

How many Malaysians send their children to international school?

The developer should think of building more access road and other amenities i.e. playground parks which the area is seriously lacking. There are no additional access road to this area. Worse still, the road in front of that old Sony building is now a one way road. Then, there are office blocks and 3 high-density condominiums in the making and yet there are no sign of road expansion to cater for the forseeable influx of inhabitants and traffic.

What kind of crap developer is this? No representative of Dijaya was present during the picket.

I don’t know whats the purpose of rare earth plant, what is the product of rare earth plant or what benefit does a rare earth plant has for the country.

The only thing I know it’s radioactive and it poses danger to our citizens’ health. That is enough to demand the fucking gomen to scrap the project of the plant.

The Malaysian gomen did not make things transparent about the project details… did it pass the IAEA safety audit? Did it pass the WHO health and safety regulations? When the Stupid Fella said it is scientifically safe and ok, did he quote who gave him the scientific evidence? Maybe a professor from Curtin University said it’s safe.Their marketing strategy worked, by giving a piece of paper they called honorary doctorate that cost not more than AUD$ 100.00 (inclusive of all printing cost, paper cost, ink cost, embossing cost, plastic seal stamp cost, signatory’s fee/salary, lamination costs, transportation cost etc), I’m taking a very generous figure here, they managed to reach a target of say 75% of Malaysians to etch “Curtin University” in their head. The viral phenomenon that automatically generated thereafter is not taken into account yet. Even Dr. Philip Kotler didn’t thought of that.

Another question is, why Lynas needs to build such plant to process rare earth waste in Malaysia when Australia is filthy rich with landmass real estate? Of course Malaysians are very very pleased to welcome FDI but we are not that greedy until accept any FDI that will jeopardise our health and well being. Maybe rare earth is not as radioactive as Fukushima, but the fact alone that it is radioactive is enough to put every sane Malaysian to have a perception it is dangerous and this would definitely affects our psychological wellbeing.. and it may lead to other illnesses such as psychological disturbances and perhaps heart diseases due to fear and stress in our subconscious mind. Even developed country like Germany is decommissioning all radioactive facilities in their country.

So far, the Australian government has not make any public comment at all (not that I know of) about this national furore that got millions of sane Malaysian to protest the hanky-panky Lynas rare earth plant project on our beloved Malaysian soil. I’m sure a you don’t just get a mere honorary doctorate from an Australian university, I’m sure there must be more to this Lynas deal.

There is not enough transparency on the part of Malaysian gomen on this project. Why must we give a chunk of our land to Australia to dump their radioactive mining waste when they have so much more unused land than our Peninsular Malaysia?? Will the buried radioactive waste turn into yellow gold after certain amount of years?

Why??????????????? Why the fuck, mate? Why the fuck, Ah Jib? Kenapa?

*just in case you don’t know who is Namewee, he is a renown King of Controversy in Malaysia. Artist, movie director, singer, rapper, activist…

No Ahli: 088888888
No. KP: 880208-14-8888
No Telefon: 012-3456789

Sekian terima kasih.

Yang benar,

Last week a colleague told me over lunch that his wife just delivered their second baby last week at PPUM. It was a Caesarean operation. Then he recounted the horror of the wound bleeding after the delivery was over and gotta buy 2 packs of blood to replenish. He then discharged his wife and admitted her to Taman Desa Hospital to address the problem with the poor wound-stitching job.

Then I told him of my experience with PPUM few years ago when I had the life changing accident that broke my jaw and teeth. That stupid incompetent Dr. Quack medical officer, after cursory check and despite having perused the XRay scan, he told me I was ok to go home. My jaw was hanging and I couldn’t even move my jaw and he said I was ok.. I could not talk properly or else I would’ve gave him a profanity lesson. After a bit of a commotion at the emergency ward, then came a saviour in the form of Dr. Ha Kien Oon. I revered him as a dentistry maestro. With just a glance at the X-ray film and a bit of touching on my jaw, he said this is kinda serious. That idiot dr. Quack was embarrassed and slipped away unnoticed. Even the Head/Dean of the Dentistry Faculty met me to apologise for the medical negligence of that dr.quack.

So, many people say government /semi-government hospitals are not good but to me, it just depends on your luck. Of course there are many doctors who start their career at these hospitals and they may not have much experience. Once they gained much experience, many would’ve move to private hospitals which are much more lucrative. But there are some good ones who stayed back to teach, train, research and very much practice at the same place. It’s just that we tend to hear more of these medical negligence stories on govt./semi govt. hospitals but that does not mean private hospitals are free from such incidents. Maybe they are just covered up.

Guess my colleague just gotta make a professional indemnity claim for medical negligent.

Btw, in this post I’m in no intention of tarnishing the reputation of PPUM or any other government or government-linked medical institutions.

Can’t buy me love, love..can’t buy me love……. ok…that famous Beatles’ song is so dated and wrong in today’s society and landscape. I love the Beatles but I just have to say this..today.

Mr. One Point 5ive’s (1.5) wedding is a grand event in the company where even the HRs, PAs and the rest of the workers have to chip in some labour to run the preparation affairs. The saddest fact is that even I was not spared. My peers, the salarymen like me gotta act as messenger to send invitation cards to the who’s who of the industries – both insurance and automotive. HRs are planning the invites, the boss himself is orchestrating the showdown, the directors are roped in to run the PR things with the industry guests.

Having wedded myself, of course I don’t want my wedding to be marred by the attendance of superficial guests whom I don’t even know, but sometime this is somehow inevitable. They could be my parents’ friends. Alright, maybe 20% of the guests unknown to me is still tolerable….but to have my wedding dinner to be like an industry convention or my parents grand showoff is a NO-NO. Even if they are paying for the whole wedding costs. It is my wedding and I want people to remember me, the groom and NOT my dad, the company and or the investors. I want my closest friends to attend it for they are the guest of honour…. not some Datuk or Tan Sri or someone whom I’ve never met even though that fella is of use and who is giving some business to my company. Gosh… I can’t believe I’m so un-entrepreneur.

To even ask the managers…office staff to be the groom’s “heng tai” is even more epic. He doesn’t have any friends and was too desperate you ask your subordinates to be the heng tai. Man, can’t believe there’s such a loser. And these subordinates have got no choice as they are working for the father and or the groom. The managers’ balls are being squeezed to the last drop of juice.

I had some acquaintances who asked me to be their heng tai on their wedding day. Hey come on lah… we’re not even that close how can you ask me to be ridiculed by the jimuis. Its just so wrong. Worse, to be at your bachelor’s nite… entertaining your relatives who I lagi don’t give a fuck.

Niamah (to borrow the word from Patrick Teoh), what is wrong with the world? I guess…. money really can buy love. I WILL NEVER DO THIS TO MY SON/DAUGHTER.

Que sera, sera… whatever will be, will be….. yeah right. Not anymore, mind you. That phrase is so old skool and archaic.

The hate against the royal police force.. traffic police to be precise.. is getting deeper. I was stopped at a road block the day before yesterday in Puchong. That fucking police.. an indian guy or perhaps mamak.. demanded to see my wallet when I handed him my travel documents and a sheet of red paper. He said that is not enough at all and demanded to see my wallet. He even have the audacity to say if there are no more sheets of paper, he will let me off. He also asked me not to waste time… as it was very hot and challenged me to come out of the car to feel the heat.

He accused me of crossing a line which I should not have crossed near a junction. Bollocks.

Of course I was so calm as I know how to handle these bastards and I know my rights. Furthermore it was a very very hot mid day and the sun was so scorching even my underwear was drenched with my sweat in-car with aircond in full blast. I admit begging him for a chance by giving lame excuses such as I don’t know the area well as I don’t live there… etc. He kept telling me Ops Sikap is still in operation (I found out that nite, that day was the last day) and the summonses are all 300 bucks. No discount or appeal. I told him I dont have anymore sheets of paper and if he’s not satisfied with a sheet of red paper…he can issue me a summon. What choice do I have?

He was so crossed he threw my documents and the paper back into my car and they fell onto the floorcarpet. He shouted at me to get out of his sight at once. He also yelled “waste of time !”. There were 3 cars after me that were waiting for their turn to be served the summonses.

So moral of the lesson, always don’t challenge them immediately and don’t offer mint to them rightaway. Waste their time and test their patience. Act inferior to them and beg if you must. Ask them if they have proof of your wrongdoing.

Back to the que sera thing. I won’t advise and or endorse any hopeful and right minded person to join those uniformed bastards in my lifetime. They are a disgrace to the nation. If my kid ask me what should they be in the future…I’ll definitely tell them without even the need to think, they can be anyone, of any lawful profession EXCEPT traffic police in Malaysia.

They are so thick-faced that they are not shy at all to ask for more… Pepsi. Real pundek.

I was at Tropicana City Mall last Sunday to watch The Wolfman starring Anthony Hopkins and Benicio Del Toro. I’m not doing a movie review here ok.

So, after the movie, me and my Szer went walking around window shopping. Then we came this printing shop called “e-Print” or something. As usual, there will be samples where we can browse through there vast collection of cards ranging from those less than a ringgit to more than 10 ringgit. They have an album for Chinese-themed cards and another one for Malay-themed cards.

I notice that some of the cards are the same, I mean the size, colour and dimension. The differences are the wordings, embossed decorative patterns and of course the price. A plain metallic yellow-gold colour chinese-themed card with just a gold wedding logo the size of 20 sen (without any embossed floral decorative pattern) cost RM1.60 while a malay-themed card of the similar size, colour and dimension and with a slight difference that is the decorated words of “Jemputan Perkahwinan” in gold…. and it cost only RM1.00 !!

I was shocked and asked the malay lady manning the kiosk and she said malay-themed cards are usually cheaper. She just smiled knowing that I cornered her to say it out that the malay-themed card is cheaper. I would have created a fuss there and ask her to tell the reason if not for Szer asking me to go off.

What the fuck? The only difference between the two card is that the chinese card has a logo and the malay card has the words….. no decorative patterns emboss whatsoever.

What the fuck?
