The DUKE of KL

Another addition to the already long list of highway jargon (NKVE,KESAS, SPRINT, PLUS, LDP, BESRAYA, MRR2, MRR1, SMART, NPE, Penchala Link, Kerinchi Link, Guthrie, Federal…)  ….. the DUKE. Its an abbreviation of Duta Ulu Kelang expressway. It cost for RM2.00 and you save plenty of time (just about 5 minutes?!) travelling from Hulu Klang to Jalan Duta, which if you take the MRR2 will take you about 20-25 minutes in normal traffic. If the road is jam, it’ll take about 30-40 minutes. This is great savings, man.

To go to Setapak or even Hulu Kelang from Damansara, just take the Penchala Link (RM2.00) and reach Jalan Duta. Then you take the DUKE (another RM2.00) and head straight to Setapak or all the way to Hulu Kelang. In just 5-10 minutes, you’ll be sipping teh tarik in Setapak. Great job, Samy Vellu… ?
