So, where to go for the best nasi kandar in town you may ask. Well, I tell you, the best so far has to be the Kayu in Kota Damansara…. why? The price of their food is exorbitant but the food is delicious, nice ambience for a mamak joint, air conditioned, ample parking, there’s an elevator servicing 4 floors, service is good – food is served quickly, premise is clean, toilet is considered clean, there’s private room for customers who want privacy. However, they have NO wifi. Ilek.
A big mamak joint of this stature have got no WiFi facility?! What the fuck. Even the chehkai mamak near my house is WiFi enabled. Went the with the intention to surf net but they have got no wifi. Fuck. Had nasi briyani topped with some ganja with cabbage and a friend chicken. They charged me for RM9.00 !!!! Arrgh.
This coming 28 March 2009 (Saturday) at 8.30pm sharp, please switch off all lightings and electrical appliances (be it on standby mode or active usage) to conserve 1 hour of energy. This is a worldwide drive initiated by WWF (not the wrestling federation, mind you). So, take the opportunity to go for a walk at the park with candles and or torch lights etc. However, if your safety is compromised by switching off the lights , then switching off lights in support of this initiative is not encouraged. Safety first… beware of the thieves.
Wow… so long since I last put up a real post. Been a bit lazy to blog but I still have plenty to blog about my recent trip to Europe. Maybe I’ll take a year to blog all of it. So.. with the recession already brewing here in Malaysia.. I think its better to get a new pastime. I’ve cut down all frivolous weekend outings, boozing in pubs, clubbing (yeah, to me, clubbing is boring now), cinemas, etc. I finally realise that it is better to stay at home and chill…watch dvds and sleep, paktoh a bit and I save a lot of money. Relax after a long week of working…. do some study revisions and assignments, etc. Prepare for the upcoming test.
Well, there had not been better time to learn to play mahjong than now. Thanks to Mrs Toh… learning the fundamentals of mahjong was so damn easy. Now I can spend Saturday nites at homie’s place to kill time playing mahjong at a fraction of the cost of going out drinking and jollying. So, I kill 3 birds with a stone. I get entertainment, saving money and kill time. Yeah.
Anyone know where I can get a mahjong game for PC? Hopefully a 3-kah mahjong game. Haha. I’ll tapau lunch, stay in office and play computer game then.
There’s just too much politics these days… in the fucking office, in Perak, in KL, in Malaysia. There’s no co-operative within politicians (people who are involved in politics be it in the office and or political parties) and there’s no one to trust anymore. Just trust yourself. In these hard times, everyone (except your immediate love ones and true friends) cannot be trusted especially superiors, politicians and the likes. Even sultan cannot be trusted you want to trust your managers? Isn’t it the job of the sultan or person like a manager in a company to deal with shits caused by some fucked up politicians or senior staffs that is benefiting their cronies at the expense and agony of the rakyat or other junior staffs for that matter?! Organisations like FIFA been promoting fair play… but do you think it can be applied to the running of a company department, state or country? Thats the way it is…but doesn’t mean it should be. I began to see the workplace is as fucked as Perak’s political scene. Should we seek an audience with the King? Can the King bring fairness back to business? I doubt it. You may also be in doubt but one thing for sure… as long as there’s fucked up people somewhere in position (i.e. C.Ronaldo in Manchester United FC), there won’t be any fair play. Get the picture of this post?
Is it at all possible to have a single secular school system?
One school system for all… a myth?
Many believe that the Malaysian dual education system will
need to be re-looked at.
Some parents quietly feel that the dual school system contributes to racial polarisation as stereotyping is re-enforced when children of the same race dominate a school, especially at a young and impressionable age.
