Where are you going this CNY?
Had lunch with colleagues and asked them where they are going this coming CNY. I fella’s gf’s a sabahan and I asked him if he’s going over to sabah for CNY and guess what he said. NOPE. He said nope. He just said not interested to go. I was like…
its CNY…. ok fine maybe the airfare is super expensive he wanna save and go after CNY. Whatever the reason…. what I’m more interested here is that the other 2 of us kept asking him why he’s not going and he said its not the airfare or money problem. We even told him to at least you see them once a year during CNY. Not that we’re asking him to go there every month.
Then he said one thing….. “you all afraid you won’t see them (the family) when (or if) you’re married later on?”.
What the fuck, geez… basket, how can I respect someone who fucking said that?
