Identity theft counter measure
I have a colleague who is not-so computer savvy. He always like to save passwords on the forms for his email, chat program and various services.
This is very dangerous and as our job require us to use an online claims management system to do our work, someone might just login into your account and use it to do malicious thing as you. Even someone is not doing anything bad… its just that your privacy is breached.
Always disable the “Save password” function and opt for typing your password every time you’re online. The function is evil especially in MS Internet Exploiter… eerr I mean Explorer.
It may be tedious to type a long alphanumeric password but at least your identity is safe.
