Ok. I’m a bit frustrated. Received a new MBf card a month plus ago. Then got the statement from AmBank and went to pay the outstanding balance. The cash machine do not recognise the card number. What the fuck. I’ve been doing this for ages and suddenly now it doesn’t recognise my card.
But why AmBank is still sending me statement then? MBf didn’t send me or call me to inform that I have to go to pay at CIMB from now onwards. Ok fine. Then I went to CIMB and tried the cash machine and the card is not recognised. Again, what the fuck
Finally, went back to office and I called the MBf customer service centre and was told:
1. The old card is Visa and the new one is Master Card (MC). AmBank is issuing Visa while MBf themself is issuing MC.
2. The line of credit of the old card, Visa was given by AmBank. Now I still have some balance on the old card, therefore AmBank still sending me statement.
3. I can ONLY pay over the counter at CIMB at the moment or any MBf Card Centre. No cash machine no nothing. But I can use CIMB Click (CIMB’s internet banking). What the fuck.
“Why am I not informed whatsoever about this shit?” I shouted. The girl on the other end of the line just smiled “hehehe”. What the fuck. Now they said they will resend the statement. But I didn’t even receive any statement from neither MBf nor CIMB. Arrrghghh.
Was heading to Sg. Wang for lunch the other day and there were 4 of us in the car. The usual four guys, my colleagues. The front passenger, L and the driver, W was talking while I was looking out the window listening to the song, not bothering what they were talking.
Ok. Then the driver said he wanna get married soon. Wait wait…. did the title caught your attention again? Ok good. The title of this post has nothing to do with me at the moment! Alright, nowadays everyone is getting old… I’m the youngest among them. W is 30, L is 29 and C is 32. The topic just caught our attention. C and I sitting behind.
These days their conversation is more about of getting married or something like that. W who just recently started to go out with this girl is thinking about getting married. Hmmm… I guess everyone is tired of all the high clubbing life. L is cutting less on alcohol consumption because of health diagnosis and the nagging he receives from his girlfriend. Where as C is still looking for a suitable candidate to go out with and settle down. Everyone just want a simple life. The happier side of life I’d guess.
Everyone’s talking about history now. They don’t go drinking or nite outings that much anymore. This is what I call it… last time talk lan si (telling people how great you are) now talk lek si (history… in this case, of the lan si time).
We asked W why he wanna get married so damn fast… they just been going out for a month. He said he just wanted to. He feel like getting married. His mom nagged him to get married years ago.
We all like speechless. We didn’t know about this side of W. He’s so sweet.
