Ganesh Beedies
Dad asked me to get some beedies for him and I was like what the fuck. What is beedies? Bee Dees the bra?
“Ayoyo.. beedies is tobacco smoked by indians. Those cheap rolled tobacco leaves. You can get it from indian groceries store.” Then I called Logen and asked him where to buy. He told me I can get from indian shop selling incense for prayers. He pointed me exactly where the shop is near Batu Caves. Got it for RM0.70 per pack. Geez.
Also asked Lingesh and he teased me… “woi, no money then stop smoking lah. Why wanna smoke beedi??”. Man… I really didn’t know there’s such thing.

er okay… so how was smoking beedis like anyway?
The beedies are not for my own consumption though. I quit smoking already. I can’t even open my mouth.
At this point of my life, I now realize that nasi lemak and bak kut teh is more important than smokes.
