Days of Glory - Indegenes
At first I thought this is a boring WWII movie (I bought this DVD a few months ago, watched 20 minutes of it) but then I gave it a second chance as I have nothing to do now. Sitting at home recuperating. Well, a very different aspect of warfare you’d see here. I was wrong at first.
Its about a group of North African/African men fighting the Krauts under the French Tricolore, their colonial master and they were discriminated and treated in double standards. Promotion of ranks were given to French, fresh tomatoes ration were only given to French, front line job were given to them but the other French units take credit of their sacrifices, no education for them… many more.
You must watch this. Go get it at your nearest pirated DVD peddler.
