Last week we heard of the trashing (5-1) of Malaysian team by China in AFC Asian Cup football tournament. Then a few days later we read in newspaper that China had singed a deal in giving us a loan of RM2 point something billion for the second the construction of second Penang Bridge. They stated it is the first time China is giving loan of that amount to other country. Do you think its a mere coincidence or is it really that Malaysian football team really really sucks? Everyone been talking about it… booing the national team on air etc….

Maybe there’s something we don’t know. But then, they (our national team) were trashed by Uzbeks too. Ayoyo.. sometimes, they can’t blame us for not supporting our local football scene. That community service on Hitz.fm is just a waste of airtime. You can be supporting a lousy team but not as lousy as this.

Sometime i wonder why I’ve been so sohai for doing work out there when I was sick. I once went to Seremban for survey on a Saturday and I was having fever. What a sohai.

Today… no more that sohai. Whatever can pass on to someone else… they better take it quickly. You’re sick and you wanna stay in the office to rest? Why not go home and rest on that comfy bed? We just got to be selfish because everyone else in the company are also selfish.

Well, we all have medical benefit from the company why not maximise full use of it? The company’s paying… not you. Just ask the doctor to charge lah. A colleague, L … took all his MCs allocated for this year… and its just mid-july. He said, so what the fuck. I’m not gonna lose my MCs to the company. I like his point. See, we’re allocated 14 days of MCs a year, 14 days of annual leaves. So.. we deserved all 28 days. Why not fully utilise all of it? Take all 28 days. Our company not gonna give you “full attendance award” or the “healthiest employee award”. Come on… you know how shitty some company are. I made a point to use whatever resources the provide… especially paper and colour printer. Here in office, no one cared of what Al Gore preached. A cigarette butt can set fire in seconds right here in my place.

By the way, the panel doctor suck. Most companies would have ask the panel clinic not to simply issue MC. Only issue it on genuine cases. But then, if you’re really sick… how can you wade thru the massive traffic jam to office, go to the doctor and get MC? I used to be that sohai… just to save a few ringgits.. but now… no. Just go to the nearest clinic to your house… and make sure the doc give you an MC coz  you deserved it. MC can also be bought.
