total customer service

June 21st, 2007 1 comment

Imagine that you’re a car/vehicle breakdown customer service officer (CSO) who receive calls from customers who had a vehicle breakdown. You sits in the office… the call centre. Ok.

Your job is to coordinate tow trucks to tow break down cars and you must have a sense of direction. I mean to inform the tow truck operator accurately of the location of the breakdown car is very important. And it is better to give the driver’s mobile number to the tow truck operator because you can save a lot of time. Just let the tow truck guy calls the car owner and they’ll meet up. And your case could be done. No hassle. You just facilitate the information.

Ok… I been hearing shits from workshops/tow truck operators for the past few days that the newly enforced policy is not to reveal car owner’s phone number to the tow truck operator. And how the fuck they gonna find their way to the place where the car break down. Of course the tow operator will be calling the CSO and the car owner will be calling the CSO asking when will the tow truck reach and the CSO have to call the tow operator when he’ll reach and then call the car owner again telling him the tow truck will reach soon. Idiot right?!

Why need a middle person to relay the information?

There was once an incident I heard of this break down thingy whereby a car broke down during afterwork rush hour in Jalan P. Ramlee. So they informed a tow operator and he wade thru the notorious jam only to find the said broke down car to be nowhere. He called up and asked the driver and he said he’s indeed in Jalan P Ramlee opposite this this building and the towing guy didn’t see anything resemble of what the driver said. And the tow operator asked a basic question…. “are you in KL?” and the driver said “hell, no, this is Kuching lah!!”.

Wha lao eh. Some of these CSO dont know places, how can they instruct people go here and there.

Call this toll free number for your car breakdown service : 1-800-881-893 (countrywide towing coverage).

Live Forever

Maybe I dont really want to know
How your garden grows
I just want to fly
Lately did you ever feel the pain
In the morning rain
As it soaks it to the bone

Maybe I just want to fly
I want to live I dont want to die
Maybe I just want to breath
Maybe I just dont believe
Maybe youre the same as me
We see things theyll never see
You and I are gonna live forever

Maybe I dont really want to know
How your garden grows
I just want to fly
Lately did you ever feel the pain
In the morning rain
As it soaks it to the bone

Maybe I will never be
All the things that I want to be
But now is not the time to cry
Nows the time to find out why
I think youre the same as me
We see things theyll never see
You and I are gonna live forever
Were gonna live forever
Gonna live forever
Live forever
Forever

Sophie Scholl in the cinema near you

June 20th, 2007 1 comment

The true story of Germany’s most famous anti-Nazi heroine is brought to thrilling life in the multi-award winning drama SOPHIE SCHOLL-THE FINAL DAYS. Academy Award nominee for Best Foreign Language Film of 2005, SOPHIE SCHOLL stars Julia Jentsch in a luminous performance as the young coed-turned-fearless activist. Armed with long-buried historical records of her incarceration, director Marc Rothemund expertly re-creates the last six days of Sophie Scholl’s life: a heart-stopping journey from arrest to interrogation, trial and sentence.

In 1943, as Hitler continues to wage war across Europe, a group of college students mount an underground resistance movement in Munich. Dedicated expressly to the downfall of the monolithic Third Reich war machine, they call themselves the White Rose. One of its few female members, Sophie Scholl is captured during a dangerous mission to distribute pamphlets on campus with her brother Hans. Unwavering in her convictions and loyalty to the White Rose, her cross-examination by the Gestapo quickly escalates into a searing test of wills as Scholl delivers a passionate call to freedom and personal responsibility that is both haunting and timeless.

I’m gonna watch this tonite!

This film is remarkable in how it manages to be very accurately detailed and also very expressive and poignant. The historical detail never bogs down the narrative. This is due to the character of Sophie (who is magnificently played by Julie Jentsch). Scholl was driven by her Christian faith and love of mankind. Her courage and defiance spouts from her faith. She never shows weakness to her persecutors, often infuriating and frustrating them.

This film stands from other films about the Third Reich due to it’s optimistic nature derived from Sophie’s faith. God is omnipresent in this film. There is almost constant sunshine in the film (a rarity for a WWII movie). The defiance, confidence and hopefulness of Hans and Sophie, even as they walk to their deaths, emphasizes the fallible, temporary nature of the Earthly world and the permanence and perfect love of God.

SOPHIE SCHOLL-THE FINAL DAYS received three Lolas (German Oscars) including the Audience Award and Best Actress Award to Jentsch for her brilliant characterization of the title role. The film also won two Silver Bears for Best Director and Best Actress at the 2005 Berlin International Film Festival.

Bocor Lagi
by Keris Silau  – Malaysia Today

Bocor teruk kata Samy
Wiring lama kata Ramli
Bangunan tua kata Nazri
Najib said it’s PWD

Semua ada alasan sendiri
But where you all spent the money?
RM90 juta untuk cantikkan lobby
So that it looks luxury

Nice décor and nice settee
But now you kena letak baldi
Bocor teruk when it rains heavily
MP yang busuk pun boleh mandi

The floor is wet and slippery
The luxury lobby now looks untidy
Inilah dia third class mentality
Luar cantik tapi dalam very shoddy

Structure work should get priority
And now whose responsibility
JKR or Parliament Committee
While you all gaduh sama sendiri

Rakyat want an answer immediately
Otherwise kita tak bagi you undi
Sebab you spent money unnecessarily
You know it is taxpayers’ money
So please spend the money wisely.

The father’s weekend

June 18th, 2007 2 comments

It was Father’s Day yesterday but thanks for the stuffs you bought us, Dad. Especially the perfumes and the Deutschland football jersey. Wished you are here… anyway, happy father’s day. I love you dad.

Anyway, weekend was great. Went to Deutsche Haus at Jalan Ceylon on Saturday with my Szer and I kinda like the place. Szer also like it. Yay. I love german beer and irish stout !! German sausages!!

After we’re done with the eatery, I found someone puntured my car tyres. What the fuck. I parked in front of a convenience store, The Kiosk… and apparently the owner of a karaoke joint, Japanese Karaoke, above The Kiosk… punctured my tyres because I parked her place. Some car jockeys operating in front of The Kiosk told me. I wonder if they are the one who punctured my tyres. Fuck. They pointed me to the car of the said karaoke joint owner. So I strutted a small stone into the tyre valve and let the tyre deflates slowly. Geez. I parked my car on a five foot way pedestrian pavement also cannot. Fuck. I wanted smash the car’s window but better not to or else Szer will say I like to find trouble and mitigate some loss or else loss adjusters will gain from it.
