Went to Perodua service centre in Glenmarie this morning. While waiting for their insurance claims advisor Mr. Bob (not his real name), I was looking at a Viva, our national compact car maker, perodua’s latest model at the showroom.
Then when the fella came, he was wearing a white tshirt with the word “Viva” printed so big in front that i can even see without my glasses. Yeah, Viva’s promotional tshirt.
G : Whoa, skarang semua Viva… baju pun viva… (Whoa, now everything’s Viva… even t-shirts)
Bob: Ye lah, ada baju baru, ambik pakai je lah. (yeah, since they’re giving us new tshirts, why not just take it and wear.)
G: Betul jugak. Eh, tapi Viva saya rasa slack sikit la. Design dia slack sikit.(you’re right. But i think there’s something slacking in Viva especially the design)
Bob: Hmm… betul design slack sikit. (yeah, something is amiss.)
G: Sales ok?
Bob: Banyak, ramai orang datang tengok Viva… tapi last-last beli Myvi, Semua datang tengok Viva, beli Myvi. (A lot, a lot of people came to view the Viva but ended up buying Myvi)
G: Hahahhahahahahaha.
Bob: Betul ni. (I’m not kidding)
So, the decision is yours. If you plan to buy a perodua, go to the showroom and see the cars thoroughly. Myvi’s nicer.
Been listening to stories of the national automaker’s assembly line in Rawang from my Szer. Yes… that compact car maker. Man.. those idiots “mat rempits/natakaran” assembly line operators would damage spare parts supplied by third party OEM just to get some roti canai, KFC, cigarettes etc. They would threaten to create some down time which would cost the parts suppliers thousands of ringgits.
Then i came to know of these idiots would purposely burn (yes, burn. Arson.) some parts and would ask for suppliers to buy food for them. Well, this happens on night shifts. If you’re one of the authority in an auto assembly plant… please make sure your rempits does not inconvenience your suppliers.
To just ask for people to buy you food is ok. Just dont burn parts and make people’s life hard. Thats is not how you ask people to pau you. If you want people to pau you, you must do something in return to benefit the person. Everyone must benefit from the pau. That is the real purpose of pau.
All set. Caterer set. T-shirts set. Venue set.
The price to pay is RM50 per pax.
RM20 >> T-shirt
RM30 >> food + misc
Those of you who can’t collect the t-shirt from Daniel Fong Thiam Yew, dont worry. You’ll get it when you arrive for the party. Then you HAVE TO CHANGE. You must wear the t-shirt. Pay your fees at the party. Pay to Daniel F.
Some of you may not get the size that fits you and you can be exempted from wearing it.
The t-shirt is ready for collection from today. Price to pay for the party (per pax) shall be around RM 50-60. Just prepare the money first Thiam Yew will collect the money.
Next Saturday is the day! 26th May.
I love you so much Szer and I would scream your name,
When I scream I feel not shame.
I wish you’re here with me,
When I see you I feel so gay and free
I love you so much Szer I’ll fly in the sky
Then the crow come takes my wings and I fall from the sky
I’m losing altitude, falling to the ground
I was caught by you and I’m lost in love when I’m found
I love you so much Szer I can’t control my thermometer
Cupid connected us with receiver drier
I am the condenser and you are the compressor
I hope we’ll be cool forever.
The last time I checked… it was not free. You have to pay a premium to have it on your phone. Back then, only Nokia 6600 had it preinstalled.
But then, yesterday, I looked for it again and was surprised to see that Opera, the fastest web browser (or so they claimed) is available for my archaiac Sony Ericsson P900. What’s best is that it’s FREE and I’m actually talking about Opera Mini. A slimmed down version of course.
Its a full fledge web browser for you to browse the internet on your mobile phone like you’re browsing on your computer. Its not like the WAP browser which came preinstalled that you have in most of the phones today. Opera Mini supports most of the modern phones on the market today.
This is not a sponsored post. I just want you guys to check this out. It’s really cool. Try this live demo. You can really see your favourite website in it.
