How helpful are you to a tourist?
I was crossing the busy road of Jalan Sultan Ismail (below the Raja Chulan monorail station) this afternoon going back to office at Promet and I saw two girls looked kinda lost on the opposite of the road. They were looking at a map prolly drawn by someone who dont know how to show direction let alone knowing the area in and out.
As I was crossing, I looked at them and I know they are lost… they are looking for a particular building and I got a glance on the map they are looking.
I wanted to help… but if they dont ask, I wont give a shit. Go and ask a bangla security guard. How hard is asking for direction when the map you have can’t help you much.
If you want to know a direction, ask a local. Not foreigners like banglas or indons unless they really know, then I’m happy for you.

According to my opinion, you should have helped although they didnt ask for ur help. This is about whether u have the initiative or not. Not just dont give a shit about them. Furthermore, they wont know whether those Bangla and Indons are local or not coz here in Malaysia is a multi-racial country!!!
When I went to Perth last year, I wanted to take a photo with my gf but no one helped me until an Australian guy came to me and offered his help to take a photo for me and my gf. This is what u call INITIATIVE and have a HEART to do so!!!

Lex: That’s because you asked. Hope you went to the right place/building.
nyx: There’s once, I was walking near MAS building and this caucasian girls were lost. They asked a security for direction and the guard was shooking his head when I looked back after I walked past them. I wanted to help but too bad, they asked the security guard rather than me and I’ve walked away.
