Opera on your mobile
The last time I checked… it was not free. You have to pay a premium to have it on your phone. Back then, only Nokia 6600 had it preinstalled.
But then, yesterday, I looked for it again and was surprised to see that Opera, the fastest web browser (or so they claimed) is available for my archaiac Sony Ericsson P900. What’s best is that it’s FREE and I’m actually talking about Opera Mini. A slimmed down version of course.
Its a full fledge web browser for you to browse the internet on your mobile phone like you’re browsing on your computer. Its not like the WAP browser which came preinstalled that you have in most of the phones today. Opera Mini supports most of the modern phones on the market today.
This is not a sponsored post. I just want you guys to check this out. It’s really cool. Try this live demo. You can really see your favourite website in it.

We (Opera) always gave out Opera Mini as a free download — never charged for it.
As for our claim to be the fasted browser, take a look at the browser speed comparison results.

Daniel Goldman: Thanks for the feedback. I think that was Opera that we need to pay and not Opera Mini. Isn’t it? I have used Opera quite sometime ago… the free version with ads… its a good browser. I hope the internet can be standardise to comply with W3C standards … so that every browser can view the same thing.
Sometime its annoying when webpages is rendered differently on different browsers.
