Penpal

January 31, 2007 By: endroo G Category: Bloggy 4 Comments →

Recently bimbobum made a post about friendship books. Hmm, that made me thought about writing about my penpals. I’m sure many of us had penpals in our teenage years, be it domestic or overseas. If you don’t, I don’t even know what to say.

There was this International Pen Friend (IPF) in Dublin and I learn about it from a magazine one day in Form 3. So, signed up and paid a fee for 20 names from all over the world. Can you imagine, I slipped in RM20 cash in the envelope. Then a few weeks later, a letter came and it was a list of names. Yeah, 20 of them. Guys and girls from all over the world. Germany, Argentina, Japan, Russia, England, Switzerland, America, Canada, Indonesia, and Australia. I wrote to a few of them, a german girl, a japanese girl, a swiss girl and an american girl. Here you may notice, they are a girls. Come on, its normal at that time.

But of all these girls, let me tell you, the german… after a few letters she got bored. The jap girl was nice for sending me a lot of cute things especially Tokyo Disneyland stamps. Yeah, stamps. She was nice but her letters were short ( A page of exercise book-sized paper) and it took ages for her to write English. I got bored. The swiss girl sent me xmas card and a few letters before she stopped writing to me for whatever reason. But I notice, Swiss like to write in chequered papers like those you use in your maths exercise book. The american? I was pissed that she dont know where the fuck is Malaysia. She know about Singapore but never heard of Malaysia. I was so pissed I dont want to write to her anymore. Thats it.

Then came 2 new letters. One from Viola and another from Manami. Yep. Viola’s from Austria and Manami, as you’d guess, from Japan. Viola’s first letter was like a novel. 3 sheets of papers or 6 pages of neat small cursives. Wooh. This is nice. And Austrian stamps are wonderful. On the other hand, Manami being a jap, she can write decent english. Well, she’s a nerd. A cute nerd. All her letters revolve around exams and studies. University’s entrance exams, biology, economics etc. But one thing for sure, these 2 new friends have one thing in common.

They can play music instrument. Viola plays saxaphone and Manami is a drum freak. Now, I’ve lost contact with Manami. The last time, I heard from her was in 2003 (i’d guess). And I’m still in touch with Viola thru emails occasionally. She’s a musician now. She has a jazz band and she teaches sax to children in Vienna. My affliation links, Falb Fiction and Phoen are her websites.

All the best, Oli. And where’s the personally autographed CD you promised me?

A Hair-Raising Experience at Pulau Ketam

January 29, 2007 By: endroo G Category: Places 21 Comments →

Ok, this is not crap. Went to Pulau Ketam with some bloggers and one or two non-bloggers yesterday. We went there just for lunch and a little bit of sight-seeing.

Well, it was the first time meeting with philters, syen, yatz and earl-ku(kujiao). The non-bloggers are belle, Shen and Pusan (korean?).

The famous hotel in Pulau Ketam - renovated extensively. Me and my homies stayed here when we came here 4-5 years ago.

Sorry for revealing names - (from left) philters, Belle and Shen. Philters supplied a bottle of tuak.

Need intro again? (from left) HongKiat, Daniel and the new face is earl-ku[kujiao] here seen fondling Daniel’s chest. Not another baldie?! But at least kukujiao sponsored a bottle of tequila.

(from left) Chelva, Syen and Cely.

(from left) Shen, Yatz gf and Yatz, and tihtahpah the red one.

For more pictures of the trip, please see Philters’ blog.

PS: Homies, have any of you seen Cely at the market before? She’s also from the same hometown.

<edited: mp3 deleted due to space constraint>
Don’t do drugs !!

PS: The reason why I post this is because the other day I was asked by the idiotic white-haired fella in office whether if I’m on drugs. Geez.

Breakdown service needed

January 24, 2007 By: endroo G Category: Bloggy 8 Comments →

Hmm… can’t think of anything to blog lately. Maybe I’m a bit exhausted by the shit job. Furthermore, too much thing to think about.  Wait.. let me sing for a while.

Sometimes I sit, staring out the window, watching this world pass me by… sometimes I think, there’s nothing to live for, I almost breakdown and cry.. I act like shit don’t phase me, inside it drives me crazy.. why am I here, am I just wasting my time…

Ok. I’m thinking a lot about the fucking job. Yeah, I’m getting exhausted from travelling around. Driving in Klang Valley is just making me crazy. Just want a job where I can sit in the office 9-5 and not much shit to handle with pesky people out there. A bit sick of the job at the moment. Shh… don’t tell my colleagues.

Well, chinese new year is coming in less than a month. This year, no one be at home. Just me and Mr. Bin (formerly Bean). Thought of crossing the border up north with Alan Ho and his family on the second day of CNY. Hmm…. not confirm yet.

Will be going to Ho Chi Minh City with some friends in March. Therefore, gotta postpone my iPod nano/Sone Ericsson.

Geeezz.

wordpress 2.1

January 24, 2007 By: endroo G Category: Announcement 2 Comments →

Everyone’s going gaga over the new release of Wordpress. Just like what Linux enthusiasts over a new kernel release.

Upgrading is kinda easy… even for someone like me who just used wordpress for less than a month. But, I don’t know if there will be any problem with the upgrade. I mean bugs. Argh… who cares for now?! They will have patch for it should there be a bug.

Anyone reckon other software ? Moveable Type? nyx must have something to say on this. Hahhaha.

Pulau Ketam

January 22, 2007 By: endroo G Category: Places 4 Comments →

Thats malay for Crab Island. This place is a fishing village where majorities are Chinese. The first time I went there was in 1996 with my family. Then , there were subsequent trips with my homies.

Basically, this place is just like another fishing village but a bit more commercialized. About 45 minutes of ferry from Port Klang.. but now they have speedboat which take only about 30 minutes to reach PK. The seafood there is slightly more expensive than the last time I went there. So, if its just for the sake of eating seafood, i dont really recommend this. But if you never been there…. its nice to see the place and at the same time have some seafood.
First thing you’ll notice upon reaching the jetty is the stench. Don’t be surprised that the shit you produce will drop straight from the toilet bowl into the sea below (yet the local children swim near the UFO landing spot). Someone can just peep your asshole from the water below. Beware.

Ok. For more info, go here : http://www.pulauketam.com

Good morning KL !

January 21, 2007 By: endroo G Category: Shit 8 Comments →

Ok, thinking of this nightmare that will haunt every city dweller in a weekday morning, I am wondering what can we do to stop or at least cut down the trauma.

Morning in KL is all about traffic jams as a result of single occupancy vehicle (SOV). Why? When the fuck will the public transport systems be upgraded as promised by the government? They said they reduced the subsidies on fuel to cover for public transport upgrade but is there anything been done?

Now, the stupid fucking upper level people in the office are making us to get our ass back in office at 8.30AM. Ok, its in the employment contract. But sometime, can’t we just bend some rules to conserve some energy. Its not like we’re gonna go to jail.

My job requires me to travel a lot in Klang Valley and early morning we gotta get back to office. Sometime when we have work to do in the area where we’re staying, we gotta go back to office and then come back to our place. Isn’t it stupid? And we gotta go through all the jams to office in downtown KL.. just to have a breakfast and then come out again. I forgot how many times I’ve been dissing about this but I just can’t help. This is my only way out to express.

They don’t travel out that much so they just don’t know what its like traffic jamming to office for breakfast and then get back to your place again to carry out work. They just don’t fucking understand the situation. I think the managers have some shit in their brains coz its sitting near their anus. The even have beef among themselves and we gotta suffer with all this mambo jumbo. The government already screwed up with their public transports and now these dickheads are making our lives harder. Thats just the way it is?.
Time to change. Is digi, always the smarter choice? Get a new 016 simpack and you’ll find out.

Insurer boycott by mechanics (15 Jan 2007)

By AUDREY EDWARDS and LOW BOON TAT

SEREMBAN: Mechanics who are members of the Federation of Automobile Workshop Association of Malaysia (FAWOAM) are boycotting a insurance firm for “unfair treatment”, its president Cho Chee Seng said.

Cho: Says move would affect 100 vehicles daily

He said a major complaint was that the insurer continued to give “lump sum repair offers” which meant that items like parts or labour data were not itemised.

“Members feel unfairly treated by the insurer. We end up doing jobs that are sometimes insufficient or difficult to cover. And the consumer ends up feeling that we have cheated them,” he added.

“Cost shifting occurs during the process of preparing an estimate or final bill for repairs. This may involve adding unnecessary procedures or exaggerating labour time or costs in one area to offset costs not included elsewhere in the damage appraisal or final bill.

“It can be perceived as fraud by consumers or regulators, even if the final payment by the insurer is deemed reasonable by the workshop.”

Cho said that members would continue to service existing cases at their workshops. However, for new cases where vehicles were towed to the workshop, a vehicle owner would be given 48 hours to remove their vehicle if it was insured by the said company. They would also have to pay the towing charges.

He said that if the consumers wanted their members to repair the vehicles, transaction would have to be in cash and they would be able to submit a claim to the insurer for reimbursement.

He said that the move would affect about 100 vehicles daily.

There are 1,200 FAWOAM members who are involved in repairs of vehicles involved in collisions.

The federation’s total membership is about 3,200.

Members also complained that the insurer had insisted that all third-party motor claims must go through its panel workshop system while the consumer was not required to use such a facility.

——————————————————————————————-

Foooh… at last these people have the balls to strike. A check with a local Klang Valley workshop guy, I was told that they are boycotting one particular insurance company in Malaysia. The biggest motor insurer. Yeah…. thats K Insurans Bhd.

I’ve been listening to almost every workshop operator dissing this insurance company since the day I join this industry 4-5 years ago. Same shit everytime. Now they (the frogs) have came out from coconut shell and they’re doing something for themselves, for their business, for the economy, for the livelyhood of everyone.. at least in the automotive industry.

I wish them luck. STRIKE! STRIKE! STRIKE!

Blog 101

January 15, 2007 By: endroo G Category: Shit 13 Comments →

Arghh.. i dont know where to start. Ok. After blogging for a while, I was wondering why I blogged in the first place. There are many reasons for why we blog. I don’t know if I’ve posted anything similar to this before but till now I am still wondering what is the purpose of my blog when my closest homies don’t leave some comments to encourage me. By the way, something not related, I wonder if anyone still actively using Geocities or Angelfire (or anything similar) free web hosting now. I don’t want to know and I’m not gonna google it. But that 3 Boys Homepage on Geocities is still there for sure.

I started to blog in 2005 when Friendster included blog (a retarded one) into their services. I don’t even know what a blog suppose to serve. But after a few posts, I started to realize that a blog serve a lot of things. You can write whatever shit you wanna write, include whatever pictures you wanna include…. literally whatever you wanna tell the world. I started out because of curiosity, and at the same time wanna serve as the information centre for friends who were overseas. Anything after that was history and blogging is addictive… at least to me.

So, that’s how When Bullshit Matters was conceived. Nay, nothing special about it but then I’m really saddened by the fact that my homies, of which is why my blog exist in cyberspace, don’t COMMENT on my blog. The don’t fucking wanna comment on my blog. Yes, I’m sorry to bring this shit up again. My two previous blogs also have the same diss.

Hey, come on, how hard is leaving a one-sentence comment? Something like “Nice post.” or “Bad post. Stop it.“. I don’t mind. At least they drop by. How to encourage them to blog, when they don’t even post a comment. Come on, selayang homies. Leave a message for this post… if you really care. Do it from now onwards. It is now 2007 ok. It’s not 1997 anymore ok.

But now, after befriending (they have this word in dict?) some of you nice fellas who share the same blogging passion, I now don’t really give a fuck if my homies read my blog or not. If they do read, I’m glad. If they don’t, who give a shit? I know some of them do check out my blog, but what’s the use if they don’t comment? I don’t have beef with them, just feeling sad that they don’t support by putting some comments. Ok. I’ll stop this shit now. It’s not good for opening ceremony.

endroog.com is now officially open.

Thank you. Good night. Please come again everyday.
