A shattered hope for 2007

December 31, 2006 By: endroo G Category: Shit 3 Comments →

Fuck. I’m very pissed off with the people at the hosting provider I procured. They didn’t tell me earlier that the sum I paid does not include the registration of domain name. I been waiting like dogg for the past two weeks and now they just tell me that I haven’t register my domain name. What the fuck?! They didn’t state that in their website let alone all the earlier emails they sent me. Chow hai ! I thought it was a package plan whereby I pay money and everything is included. After numerous email correspondences with their customer support officers, only now they realized what the hell I’m complaining. And their Live Call 24×7 phone call support is HOPELESS.

My dream of unveiling my .com on 1st Jan 2007 have now shattered.

Bangsaria II

December 31, 2006 By: endroo G Category: Bloggy 1 Comment →

Went to Bangsar last Friday for dinner with 2 friends and they recommended this steamboat shop in the middle of nowhere. I didn’t know there’s a steamboat shop in the middle of pub jungles. Anyway, the place was nice coz we were the only patrons on the first floor. No one else. We had the whole floor to ourselves.

Soup was very salty. And the main thing for steamboat is the chili sauce but this shop’s, suck.

Yeah… the chili sauce and soup sucks.

Hoi !! It sucks.

Then we went for a few pints of drinks

Kilkenny advert ?

Oh yeah, Aussies beat England hard, in the cricket game.

Christmas : Now and then

December 25, 2006 By: endroo G Category: Bloggy 7 Comments →

So, you’d ask what the hell am I doing here on a Christmas day. I should be opening presents and watching TV.

To me, Christmas is now different than those I had. Why? Come on, we’re all grown ups and you’d still be lingering around the tree to look for your present(s)? Thats only normal but nowadays there’s no more presents for me but angpau. Christmas has become like Chinese New Year. They rather give us $ than scratch they head thinking about what to buy for present.

No more ninja turtles figurines, no more tamiya model cars, no more colour pencils no more shits. It is actually the presence of family members that matter nowadays. This is a time to gather and eat like there’s no tomorrow. But many family members are not around here right now and I gotta bear with it. So, shits aside. I’m here at aunt’s house having a feast.

On another occasion, the house warming cum christmas party yesterday at Pei Wah’s saw many smiling faces. All homies were there except Lees and Ngs. We exchanged gifts.

Ok… wait.. I gotta say this. I’m a bit annoyed by people who buy stuffs thats not general. I mean, stuffs that can be used by both genders. Man, Mr. Neo bought 3 packs of cigarettes. What the fuck?! Ashtrays? What the fuck. Although I smoke but these are things I don’t wanna get as a present. Soft pillows? Dolls? Soft toys? Hmm… I think these are girly stuffs and guys who get it will wanna trade it for something else like pen, mug, etc. There’s still some people buy cheapskate stuffs when minimum RM30 worth of stuff was set.

Yesterday there are notably few items thats nice to get in my opinion and its cool for both genders:

Pen (from CC+HH to Mrs Tow Kay)
Mug (from CC+HH to Tow Kay)
Book/Comic (from the G to Ken)
Keyboard arm rest (from Min Dee to me. Its a thoughtful gift to a keyboard warrior)
Coinbox cum table clock (from Ivan/Jenni to Mrs MBA)

Luckily Mr. Neo traded back from Daniel F who got the cigarettes. He took the big red pillow from Neo.

Aren’t there any other stuffs we can get for our friend besides all these tiring dolls, pillows, soft toys? Come on, we all grown up. We don’t need soft toys to accompany us to sleep. But a dildo is accepted. Haha.

*My all time favourite christmas song

Joy To The World

Joy to the World, the Lord has come!
Let earth receive her King;
Let every heart prepare Him room,
And Heaven and nature sing,
And Heaven and nature sing,
And Heaven, and Heaven, and nature sing.

Joy to the World, the Savior reigns!
Let men their songs employ;
While fields and floods, rocks, hills and plains
Repeat the sounding joy,
Repeat the sounding joy,
Repeat, repeat, the sounding joy.

Heaven sings and He brings
All these best things to this world
And we pray, and we say

He rules the world with truth and grace,
And makes the nations prove
The glories of His righteousness,
And wonders of His love,
And wonders of His love,
And wonders, wonders, of His love.

Joy to the World, the Lord has come!
Let earth receive her King;
Let every heart prepare Him room,
And Heaven and nature sing,
And Heaven and nature sing,
And Heaven, and Heaven, and nature sing.

On the way into Taman Negara

Helping the guys out of the cave

Ms. NG explaining to us why we should conserve the forest. Global heating, weather change etc.

Going to the cave, Gua Telinga

Sorry for not posting this earlier. Blogger locked my publishing accidentally and now they have rectified it. So, here’s my 3D2N trip to Taman Negara from 15-17 Dec 2006 with my homies and some of their friends.

We reached Jerantut way too early. Were supposed to meet at the hostel at 8.00AM for breakfast and collect our crap complimentary t-shirts from the travel agent. We reached at 6.30AM. Walked around and waited for the town to wake up.

Hotel Seri Emas is just opposite this catchy red building but why we were asked to wait at this hotel? Maybe they open very early and we can use their washroom. Oh yeah, it is NKS’ office in Jerantut.

I think this is the most striking landmark in Jerantut. NKS Hotel & Travel, our travel agent. This is where we had our breakfast and boarded the bus to Kuala Tembeling.

Kuala Tembeling jetty.

One boat was not enough for all of us….. 24 pax. So, 6 fellas hopped onto this special boat with 2 kwailos. The two boatmen raced to keep us entertained during the 3-hours boat ride.

When we reached our hotel, Mutiara Hotel, it was already lunch time. Checked in and headed straight for lunch at one of the floating restaurant. The food at the floating restaurant was better than at the hotel. We had our lunches at floating restaurant and dinners at the hotel.

After lunch, we went cave exploring. We saw a lot of bats, spiders and a white snake in the cave. Too bad I didn’t manage to take any picture because my hands were full of bat droppings.

All so tired after the cave adventure.

Back in the hostel, Soon Keong trying out his poncho.

These ants bit my toe and it bled. Luckily that was just a split-second experience. No swells no nothing. Only a few drops of blood on my slipper.

Look at the ants !! They are huge.

Waiting for dinner at the hotel’s restaurant

After dinner, we attended a compulsory video introduction of Taman Negara. They said it is compulsory for all organised group trip. Then, after the compulsory video, we proceeded with the night jungle trekking.

Spiders were all that we saw the whole nite.

Blogger is in a state of 911, so…

Let’s get down to business
I don’t got no time to play around what is this?
Must be a circus in town, let’s shut the shit down
On these clowns, can I get a witness?

Paradise of Gangstas

December 13, 2006 By: endroo G Category: What else to say? 16 Comments →

Sometimes I sit, staring out the window, watching the world pass me by. Why you may ask. Hmm. I don’t know how to start. I’ll try.

A friend is back in town from Wisconsin USA. He contacted me for a meet-up. So, I called up a few homies and told them about it. All of them got no problem except The MBA and Sean. Well, the MBA was still in office and couldn’t make it. Sean? He said he’s fine with the plan if its not a mamak session. Reason? He told me that his dad don’t allow him to go to places with a lot of gangsters… and that include mamak stalls/shops. He (Sean) said his dad don’t want him to get into gang fight. Geeeeeeezz. Holy cow. Before this, it was Kepong. His father don’t let him go to Kepong. Reason? A lot of ah beng gangsters in Kepong.

Sean is from a wealthy family and maybe mamak is way too cheapskate for a drink. How often do we see gang fight at a mamak stall?

* the following is a seperate dedication to Sean (not Jean)

Sean, if you’re reading this, I hope you don’t mind I’m posting about it. I knew you since primary school and I know you are a good son. Obeying your dad is good. Sometime its not that we’re not calling you for meet-up or anything …. its just that mamak stall is our regular hangout place for football, weekly lepak and cheap yet tasty food. You have 3 plasma tv at home with astro decoder for each unit. We don’t.

If we go drinking alcohol, you’re not interested because you don’t even drink shandy. Starbucks? The nearest at Jusco Kepong. Kepong!

Tell me what to do. I’m almost speechless when you told me the mamak thing. No hard feelings ok.

BBQ at Glory Beach

Hi there. Just got home after a nice weekend break with fellow bloggers at Glory Beach, Port Dickson.

On the first, we had BBQ at the beach. It was just a light-scale BBQ. Not much of food were wasted, only a few of those burnt chicken wings and sausages. We just wanted to enjoy the company of each other. As for the drinks, JD and the green tea took centrestage. We played a game which required us to draw for our team mates to guess what we are drawing. I forgot the name of the game. Oh yeah.. Pictionary.

The next day, we went to Melaka for a day trip. Yeah… Melaka. But this time with a different bunch of people, so it was worthy. Ching Ling (Cely) met Jason Mumbles, a local, who brought us around Melaka town for food. Well, as usual, the chicken rice ball. I don’t know what so great of it, but every chicken rice ball shop were packed with patrons. Its just like another chicken rice stall/shop selling the steamed or roasted chickens. Just that its rice were squeezed into ping-pong ball lookalike. We ended eating some curry laksa and then went walking around, shopping for some souvenirs. After that, we headed to the famous Geographer Cafe (where they shot the famous chinese hongkey flick More More Tea Inn [Momo Cha] ). We had the upper section all to ourselves. It was a relaxing place. tihtahpah gave a few of us a massage. Man, she’s good.

After that, Jason brought us to this cake shop at Bandar Hilir… where the cake they have there can only be found in Melaka. Oh, ok. I don’t know what cakes were those but it tasted good. Nay, not a cake lover though. YY’s cheeeeeeeeeesse cake is afterall still the BEST. After eating cake, we went to the Portuguese Settlement for a spicy dinner and the preparation there for Christmas was so nice and warm. Its like a whole community affair where everyone came out to the street to help out to put up lights, banners, decorations, ornaments etc. Children were running here and there, cars with loads of tourists kept coming, caroling troupes practiced different versions of Feliz Navidad. They even have a house named Santa’s Workshop. A giant Santa balloon erected and decorated at the outside of the house. Caroler were singing at car porch. It was so merry. I love it.

On the way back to PD, it rained so heavily. Back at Glory Beach, we eased and showered and then watched the Arse-anal vs Chelski game (they drew 1-1). Then we all chatted the whole nite till 5-6 AM. Today, jammed all the way back to KL because of Selangor sultan’s birdday.

Dead body for dummies

December 07, 2006 By: endroo G Category: Bloggy 1 Comment →

The issue of a Christian family take on the government for their beloved father’s remain had interested me for a few days. This is not the first time such case happened here in Bolehland. Everything’s boleh. Everything can happen. I just can’t believe… it happen again in high profile.

All this are a waste of time and money. Even if the JAIS/JAKIM or even JAHIL win the case, what significant gain do they get? Its just another dead body. A corpse. It will rot at the end of the day. Gee. There’s something wrong in the constitution. Why can’t the family be spared from all this mambo jumbo?

The recent one… it is said that the dead man was once a Muslim convert but he renounced it and was baptised back to Catholic the second time and now he’s dead as a Catholic. Whats wrong with that? Why the fuck are these people want his remains? They get hefty commission from every buried remains?

The family should have the final decision on the body of their beloved one. Thats a plain common sense. What the fuck is all this shit, man. They have too much cemetery land reserves to use up hence they won’t let go this chance? Business no good at the islamic cemetery?

I would like to take this opportunity to advise all cons (vert) to make a will or some declaration and have it witnessed at the commissioner of oath… on your religion to save your loved ones this kind of crazy nonsense.

Lawyers, anyone, please enlighten me what this case will lead to. I mean the court hearings. 50/50 chance for both sides?

Now, where the hell is that Malaysian record-breaking solo sailor who sailed the world??

Evergreen

December 04, 2006 By: endroo G Category: Bloggy No Comments →

The Lees, Soon Keong and I went to Pertama and Campbell this afternoon to look for the stuff I needed for my upcoming trip. Well… I got the bag but not the poncho and boots. The bag bought at Pertama for RM80. Quite nice and look tough. Need to put it to test. Like what nyx said… she bought a bag there and it accompanied her to many place for the past two years… I’ll see if mine will do so. The lady at the bag shop told us to go to Campbell to look for camping stuffs like the Bunsen burner stove and other stuffs. She also told us that the a shop that give a cheapest deal. She mumble some chinese name which I don’t know or understand but she said one thing I remembered - “..but its closed for today”. She adviced that the army gears sold in Pertama are very expensive which often were marked-up a few folds. Nicole bought a luggage bag for her upcoming Bangkok trip. She bargained with the lady boss… and the lady asked Lee if she’s a Chinese (doll) girl. We laughed the whole day.

So, we went looking around Pertama and came to this shop selling uniform and army stuffs. Asked for a poncho… I was stunned by the price tag. RM88.00 ?! The quality is goooooood, thick camouflage material. Asked for a bargain and the final price was RM75. That still can’t overcome my conscience and we got the fuck out of there.

We then headed to Campbell and looked around for the shop the bag shop lady told us about. We found it. Geeez. It was Evergreen. What the fuck. Why I forgotten about it?! Evergreen’s factory is in Kepong. Should’ve went there straight to buy from the factory. Fuck. I totally forgot about it. So I told them about the factory in Kepong…. and we decided to get back to Kepong.

When we reached Evergreen factory, it was closed but next door was open. Delta Rovers climbing club. Wall climbing. It’s a wall climbing place in Kepong. The facility is very nice… with different walls for different level of climbers. Soon Keong bought a bag from their shop. So, I will go get my stuffs from Evergreen in the weekdays.
