illiteracy is haunting me but…

Again… again at karaoke with a bunch of chinese-singing people. why
im here u may ask.. hmm, maybe because i just like to out with friends
but ended up in RedBox The Curve after dinner. Dont feel like going
home so early as there’s no internet for quite some time to come.
Fuck. Fuck Telekom. They said they are exercising some infrastructure
upgrade. They should at least have some backup bandwidth. I dont mind
if it is slow like dial-up. Geez.

So, me waiting for my turn for my song which is about 10-20 songs
away. I’m listening songs i’ve heard but dont know how to sing. Some
even never heard of save the singing part. Waiting for my Speed of
Sound. Gotta emulate Chris Martin after a few pint of inspiration
beverage. Ok folks. First, i wanna get a nap. Ciao.

Is redbox up to date with their music? Especially rock songs? The last time I went for a karaoke session was in February at the same joint.

As far as the songs are concerned, Bon Jovi’s quite decent. Oasis’ suck big time. Any other singers ? They have Coldplay’s Speed Of Sound but not Talk. They should’ve put in The Hardest Part and also Green Eyes… which are easy and nice to sing.

ok..i must admit i’m a karaoke bug…prob been to most of the karaoke joints here…but ROCK music, well they have the old ones..i think gallivanter would love it.
Well, u might if u like: Def Leppard- When Love and Hate Collides, Rolling Stones: I Can’t Get No Satisfaction, Bryan Adams, even some Aerosmith- Crazy, BON JOVI of coz-extensively too, even U2- Sometimes You Cant Make It on Your Own, but i’m really into the old stuff they have like Lionel Richie, REo Speedwagen, Eric Carmen, Starship, MJ (mostly without the wordings though), Carole King, Gloria Estefan, etc. Problem is looking for those numbers coz i can’t remember half the titles anymore- bring an ‘older’ fren, it helps!

Sorry, forgot to add, the ONE and ONLY song that I’ve been looking for high and low in my 20 odd years of existence to sing in karaokes is…..THE VERVE PIPE – THE FRESHMEN!!! My all-time favorite alternative song!!!

tihtahpah: I should try to listen more of U2′s songs. The one I liked most is Staring At The Sun. I’m not the only one, staring at the sun…..

    Galli: go ahead and talk…
