Just a few posts ago I asked of any new war film and here comes Flags of Our Fathers… by Clint Eastwood. I was so excited I went to Borders, Times Square yesterday to get the book version of it. During the days we’re playing Battlefield 1942… the Iwo Jima map was the favourtite followed by Berlin and Tobruk.
WWII buff like me certainly look forward to seeing more of these movies being produced. War films teach us not to repeat the mistakes of our forefathers.
Oh.. here are the pictures. Man, jumbled up again. All out of chronological order. There will be more pictures which were taken at Lake Kenyir (dam) and Teluk Cempedak… once I get it.
Cikgu was wrestled by the rest of the guys while I took this picture.

The chalet we stayed on the second day. The first one was dirty… this one is brand new. Very clean and comfortable…. overlooking the sea.

Kuantan town: Bought salted fishes, keropoks, titbits etc for family and friends

Cherating Turtle Sanctuary: Winnie touching a turtle. The guy is the caretaker.

Club Med Cherating: Convinced the guards to let us in to have some pictures. Just at the outer part of the resort

I’m back already. Man… a 2-day trip was not that syiok but we have no choice. Many of them gotta work today.
I will try tp put up the pictures very soon once its processed.
Yo… its now 5.28pm and I’m going off as soon as I post this. Happy holidays, folks. The office is so noisy with everyone wishing each other and everyone’s going back to their hometown.
"Selamat Hari Raya and Happy Deepavali"
Oh yeah… at last it is around the corner. I’m talking about Deepavali and Hari Raya. All the machas and muslims (excluding mat rempits). A very Happy Deeparaya to all of you. Please drive safely and enjoy your holidays.
Ok. I can’t wait and I’m so excited, looking forward to this coming Friday… weekend. I’m going Cherating with my colleagues (the good and respectable ones). Also will be visiting Kenyir Lake for a day trip. Woohoo. At last, a getaway from the city. Anyway, I’m just a bit worried that it’ll rain over there because its the monsoon season in the East Coast at this time of the year.. towards year end. Fingers crossed.
Oh, also, yesterday I watched World Trade Centre at GSC 1U. The show was very entertaining… I mean the drama in it. It is not an action movie. The show revolves around the time when the 2 heroes were trapped in the rubbles at Ground Zero and the tensions of their respective family members at that time. Quite a touching drama. Now, lets go get a United 93 dvd. Any decent war films lately ?? Hmm…
I don’t really want to blog about work but sometimes… some fucking bastards really made me mad as fuck and I’ve got no choice but to release some anger in my own fucking blog. At least, in years to come, when I read it again… I’d laugh. I just hate some of the fucking pesky departmental colleagues. Tried to be good with them but they treat you like a fool. Fuck. Am I being marginalised?
How I wish I can get a job that allows me to work from home and therefore the company save some overhead operating cost. We can use technologies such as skype, msn live messengers for all the communcations and video conferencing.
How I wish. But then, without an office, work seems to be missing some essence and sense of belonging. So there’s pro and cons.
Would like to take the opportunity to congratulate another selayang mari hommy, dominic on the occasion of his wedding which fell on the same day as Hon Keong’s.
*All the pictures jumbled up in the course of uploading.

The tasty yet oily and fat piglet.

Ha. Guess who. ML (
right) was there too. MC’s old primary schoolmate. She’s electrifying innit?

The new couple Andy & Echo and the hommies.

The stage backdrop. Very simple. Didn’t know echo was a name (no pun intended).

Tow Kay pouring for us. No, thats not chinese tea. Thats brandy ice in the jug.
One of the casualty of that nite

Outta control. The power of brandy sent everyone kissing each other again…

… and again.
