Batik Club

Gee… i can’t believe I went clubbing last Saturday in a batik shirt. I just cant fucking believe it. Ah, well. Actually I attended a charity dinner earlier and after that I forgot to change. My bag was in my car. Went to KL on MC’s car. We were in a hurry, rushed from Ipoh Road to downtown KL.

The picture was purposely pixelized. Gotta obtain permission from the respective ladies first before publishing it.. or else the next time they won’t show up in da club.

The Ordinary World of Durian Durian

August 26, 2006 By: endroo G Category: Bloggy 5 Comments →

It was a hectic day yesterday. KL was in total standstill in the evening rushhour. It rained… heavily. Flash floods in the golden triangle. Even the monorail service was not spared. Commuters were squeezed into the coaches like tuna or sardine…. and hundreds more were waiting to be squeezed, stuffed, molested, fondled whatever.

After work, we went karaoke at Neway, Berjaya Time Square. Ex-colleague, Nika initiated it. So, the four of us guys – Psychoacid, Leong, Chong and myself of course, took the monorail and to our horror as we walked up the escalator to the Raja Chulan monorail station (infront of our office building, Menara Promet), we saw dozens of people queueing to buy tickets. Fuck. The roads under the station were in standstill. The traffic lights were rendered useless despite in good working order.

After jumping queue, illegal pushings and dont-give-a-fuck to anyone else, I managed to squeezed into the train… leaving Psycho out there being stopped by the monorail personnel. Waved him godbye and the train moved towards Times Square (2 stops away). Leong and Chong hopped into an earlier train. Imagine the chaos. You can see ladies weeped for being fondled but nothing can be done. You don’t know who the fuck is doing it let alone your hand is trying hold onto something to stay oriented. This is life. You have to come and experience it. By that, I dont mean I encourage ladies to go get fondled. Ha.

Once reached Times Square, fagged while waited for Psycho.

Everyone were already eating when we reached the karaoke room. Straight away, I went out to grab foods. Ate, ate, ate and ate. Then started to sing. Psycho and I were a bit bored coz we dont sing chinese song. We’re banana. Felt being left out… but hey, who cares. The English songs varieties in Neway… SUCKS. I think Redbox have better choices of English songs. I was looking for Durian Durian’s… oops, I mean Duran Duran’s Ordinary World but to no avail. Geez.

Sometime when we sang English songs, the rest will give some remark which made us felt uneasy. Although we know they don’t mean anything, it just spoilt the mood. They’re expecting us to sing those boyband songs… those michaels learning to rock, those wastelife, arggh come on man. I never went ga-ga over those chaps. But Ricky Martin’s She Bangs is a must-sing for me. William Hung etched that reminder in me. They should start to put in more Coldplay’s songs of the X&Y album.

Nika was as ever so lovely. I was kinda blushed upon seeing her. I dunno why. Ha. Oh… it was the beers, ok. And too bad Winnie left early. She’s hot. Cindy’s the Hokkien songstress. Chloe is good in singing. Leong sings very well too. Chong flunked his singing exams… but merit in his funny antic dances. Haha. At the end of the day, everyone enjoyed.

Camping

August 24, 2006 By: endroo G Category: Bloggy 15 Comments →

So.. suddenly thought of going camping. Yesterday while having a drink with Psycoacid and MC near my place , Psyco just brought up camping for merdeka eve celebration.

As you can see.. downtown KL for sure will be a traffic chaos city. Everywhere will be jam-packed. Then he suggested celebrating Merdeka in some jungles, camping, bonfire, beer, sing songs etc. Popping the wine bottle. Haha.

We talked and talked about making it happen. Discussions on camping equipments, food stuffs, where to camp & how to go there, who will be interested, everything. Psycho came up with Sg . Chilling near Fraser’s Hill. I was so excited and my mind was already planning who to ask to join the camping trip, the menu (fish or chicken… fish or chicken), the beers put to chill in the waterfall, etc etc.

After the mamak session, when I was about to sit down to draft the plan, Psycho called up.

G: Hallo. Wazzup. I will draft the shit in a moment. Just done the laundry, now hanging the clothes.
Psycho: Shit…. I think the plan has to be scrapped.
G: What the fuck?! Why???
Psycho: Merdeka Eve is on Wednesday. Wednesday lah !!!!
G: Oh shit. You’re right. Shit. Shit. So how?
Psycho: Maybe we go there and have a look at the place this Sunday?!
G: You sure ?
Psycho: Yeah. Take it as a one-day hiking trip/picnic lah.
G: Ok. Good. Set !

All this while, I wanted to go camping with my close homies but they just not that keen… and interested with my plan. Fuck. They rather go shopping mall, karaoke etc. Argh.

Don’t worry. Anyone wanna join for the one-day hiking trip this Sunday to Sg Chilling? Selayang homies?

*For some pictures of the place, here’s nyx’ gallery.

Callgirl

August 24, 2006 By: endroo G Category: Bloggy 9 Comments →

I was at a workshop near Lim Kok Wing, PJ today. There was a chinese girl… kinda wild type, outgoing and sporting, not that bad looking… alongside with the person who attended me, a malay girl while I inspected a car. The malay girl was explaining to the chinese girl about their workflow… how to deal with insurance personnels, adjusters etc. After the inspection, waited for another car to arrive. Lepaked in their office with full blast air-condition. The boss, the malay girl and the chinese girl smoked in the office. Damn. Not long later, the chinese girl left the office. Packed her bag and she went off. Dismissed. So I asked the malay girl:

G: Whoa, she left so early. Now it is only 4.00PM.
Malay Girl: Oh… she was here for training only.
G: Training? Training for what??
Malay Girl: Training to be callgirl.
G: WHATTT ??????? (i was thinking about the phone call delivery service they have in japan)

(My mind was reeling in downtown “tokyo”….)

Malay Girl: We’ve got callmen, now a girl wanna take up that position… we call them callgirl… lah.
G: Oh, I see. (Back to reality)

Ok… why would a girl opt for this job? There are so many other jobs more suitable for them. Callmen are those joes with a walkie-talkie you see in the restaurants, side walks, anywhere. Once a road accident happens, they will be the first at the accident scene to lure the vehicle owners to let them tow their vehicles for repair in their respective workshops. They get commission from this. Some workshops are giving them as high as 15%. I’m not gonna reveal too much trade practice here.

Just why this girl would wanna opt for this job? I’m speechless. But this is a free country.

Pain in balls

Went to play paintball again yesterday with my fellow colleagues. Finally our wish to play the jungle assault was realised. The “escort the VIP” scenario was great too.

Basically two new scenario we played yesterday. The earlier games we played yesterday were the same like those we played many times ago. It was to get the newbies accustomed to the gameplay. The newbies: Roy, Khong, Adrian Leong and Kah Mun (Khong’s friend) .

There was another group of players already there playing when we reached. They are sort of “experts” alongside the director of the paintball facility, CJ Ong.

We joined them for the jungle assault but too bad, we don’t have a “war photographer” to capture the drama. Psycoacid refused to be one… as he like to take picture with camera phone. The pictures took for the day can be viewed from his blog.

Scenario 1: Escort the VIP

Our gang was split to 2 groups by 4:6 ratio and the group with 6 people (excluding VIP) have to protect the VIP (Alan in his brother’s National Service blue camo shirt).

The VIP escorting team is “immortal”. By that I mean they can be shot at continuously but once the VIP is shot, they lose. They must be in the range between 3 ft. distance from the VIP. Once a person moves away from the VIP.. will be disqualified. They have to escort the VIP from their starting point to the opponent’s starting point. No paint marker (the fucking gun, duh) for the VIP. Not even a knife…. or a briefcase to shield from the pellets fest.

Meanwhile, the atacking team is “mortal”. Once shot, the person goes out the field.. “dead”. The main objective is to shoot the VIP…. not the escorts. Once the VIP is shot, the attacking team wins.

Scenario 2: Jungle Assault

At first we thought the jungle terrain is like real thick secondary bushes but it turned out to be the opposite and not much trees to hide from. There’s a makeshift hut with only 3 sides of wall. You can shoot straight into the hut. The defending team defend their territory of a 15-20 metres radius around the hut. They can’t go outside the boundary. There was a trap which was set to trigger an orange coloured smoke bomb to indicate someone from the attacking team have breached and signals the red alert. They must not let the attacking team to take the flag situated on their defense boundary line.

On the other hand, the attacking team can come from all angles. 360 degrees. It was like real combat ambush we saw on tv and war films though minus the gun shell sound. Either the flag is captured or the defence team all dead, you win.

It’s a durian life

August 19, 2006 By: endroo G Category: Bloggy 12 Comments →

The walk in the orchard was very tiresome. A hillside walk.

The durians still hanging on the tree. So near yet so far. Have to wait for it to drop, then only we can eat. It is not to be plucked from the tree.

Chun Wei picking up a durian

Whoa.. so much of durians for the day

The aromatic super delicious durian flesh.
