This is like the video game King of Fighter with a 6 hit combo.
Zinedine Zidane. That headbutt will be remembered forever in everyone’s mind who watched the Final. Whatever the reason that led to the action…. must be something very provoking that made Zizou to “iron head kungfu” that pizza guy.
Being the “tai si heng” (the most senior) of the French squad… Zizou kungfu’ed the pizza guy for whatever reason that we’ll soon to know… got himself red carded and ended the French hope. But he was awarded the Golden Ball Award despite being sent off in the final. This is great.
I think Zizou watched too much of Shaolin Soccer (that award-winning Hongkey film) and tried to perform what he practised. Or maybe he was trying to make a mark… something that people will remember for the rest of their life… Zinedine Zidane shaolin kungfu’ed that pizza guy at the Final of 2006 at Berlin.
By the way, we resume our normal life and normal sleeping hours. Now I need to adjust my clock back to Malaysian time. Haha.
At the mean time, here.. go and support and show your love to the man, Klinsmann. Everyone hope that he will extend his contract. Klinsmann muss bleiben !!
* iron head kungfu - A variant of Shaolin kungfu where by the person who practised it have a head/skull as hard as iron. Smash a brick onto your head and it (the brick) will break.
