Sin Ka Lan

July 29th, 2006 6 comments

This is not some Rocky biscuit sticks. This is a sin ka lan (bullshit) cigarette. Given to us for testing purpose by Ah Lian, the boss of our company’s panel coffee shop.

The pink one is of strawberry flavour and little bit cool like menthol. But it sucks. Nevertheless, the move by the tobacco manufacturer to try out some never before seen packing in Malaysia… this pink one is really eye catching but the product sucks. Come in pink box.

On the other same hand, the black one is a menthol cigarette. Cold cigarettes like Salem. It too have a lil bit… yeah.. all a nigga really need is a lil bit, not a lot baby girl just a lil bit, we can head to the crib in a lil bit… oops, sorry. Lets get rich or die tryin… eerrr I mean get back to the topic. It taste a little strawberry and also sucks. Come in black box.

RM6.50 per pack of 20′s. SKL premium…. sin ka lan. Embassy was better…. way better than even Salem.

Cameron Highland farm trip 2005

July 22nd, 2006 7 comments

Sorry for another video here. I just got too many videos to publish and please bear with me. I assure that all these videos are good in quality. No shitty stuffs. Would like to take this opportunity to promote Coldplay. They are one of the greatest band of this era. Please support them and their cause. Make trade fair. Their song Speed of Sound can be heard in the video. Please don’t sue me. TQ.

Ok.. this video was taken during a land rover ride into the remote farms in Cameron Highlands, Malaysia. The guys are all my colleagues. Went there for beer bash. All guys. The language is Cantonese. Thats me, biting the cigarette…. like an ahbeng from china…. like a communist. Haha.

Basically, the video is to show the joy of the bumpy ride. Cool wind, fresh air and beautiful sights. Farms owned by one of my colleague’s relatives. Family exporting business. Flowers, strawberries, tomatoes, vegetations any thing you name it… they have it. Walloped load of strawberries and tomatoes while we plucked… to take home.

For pictures to supplement this video, here it is.

My obsession of KLCC is undescribable. This footage is taken while I was driving along Jalan Tun Razak…. on a flyover bridge after the National Library. The best view of KL skyline is here.

Spice of a bygone era

July 19th, 2006 9 comments

Well, its Spice Girls I’m referring to. Many of my readers know who the Spice Girls were. Ok, I’m not talking about the shampoo girls (dressed ala Spice Girls) in the hair salon (The Spice Hair Salon) next to Canton City in hometown. Oh fuck, I’m not from China either. Canton City is the name of a restaurant in Selayang Jaya.

Ok, back to the topic. Just now while I was driving home around 8.30pm, hitz.fm played 6-7 Spice Girls hits in a row and I was like ” WOW. SPICE GIRLS !! GIRL POWER. VIVA FOREVER !!” Had the system up, pumping every bit of juice my moderate system can produce. They were the band who took the world by storm during our growing up years in secondary schools (in case some of you don’t know). A generation of teenagers addressed as lala sprung up everywhere, dressed like Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice). And yeah, David Beckham’s wife Victoria Adams (err.. now Beckham) was one of the band member too, with the Posh Spice moniker. The others were Mel C the Sporty Spice (a Liverpool FC fan), Emma Bunton the Baby Spice and Mel B the Scary Spice.

Sometime, listening to some tunes you so crazed of many years ago, on the radio, will just make your day. Listening it from CD or MP3 don’t generate that feeling much. Let alone, very seldom you’d hear Spice Girls nowadays on the radio… hitz.fm.

So, I would hope that they, hitz.fm will have a slot in some retro hits and play it with any other current hits. I know mix.fm already serve the purpose but there’s no jj & rudy there. Here’s some songs I’d like to hear more often on the radio:

Spice Girls’, Closing Time, Fuel’s Shimmer, Oasis’, Better Than Ezra’s Good, Michael Jackson’s, Coolio’s, Tupac’s…………….. just to name a few. Oh yeah, the famous one before Spice Girls….. Fool’s Garden Lemon Tree. Karaoke session ain’t complete without singing this song. Translated to many languages and imagine if EVERYONE have mobile phone at that time, this would have been the ultimate ringtone. Haha.

Do you still remember, how we used to be ,feeling together, believe in whatever… Viva forever.

MICC saved the day

July 16th, 2006 No comments

Went to Genting yet again. Yesterday nite. But this time round, some shit happened. Soon Keong’s car… Toyota Unser (KF81) went kaput. The battery overloaded and exploded and everyone in his car almost scared to shit when the car died off and total darkness…. while going uphill.

I went up first with the Lees. Lee Lip Stik, N Lee and N Lee’s sister. Those in the KF81 were the owner of course, Daniel F, Teh Tow Kay, Atrica, choki & Chia Yee. While I was walking with the Lees to the Coffee Bean, phone rang.

Someone I forgot who, maybe it was Ken… told me the battery exploded and there’s a lot of smoke coming out from the engine bay. Feared of the whole wire harness and distributor to catch fire, asked them to back off from the car. Then they started to see the acids… the battery water, shooting out like a fountain. Boiling acids. Geez.

Told Soon Keong to calm down. Got the car registration number. I then called MICC. Toyota 24-7 breakdown service call centre is actually run by my company. Those of you not in the know, if you’re driving a Toyota new car, you’re entitled to a free efficient breakdown service in Malaysia. In just a minute, the call centre officer arranged tow truck (Chin Lin) and on its way up to Genting from Ampang.

So they waited and asked The MBA to drive Daniel F’s car uphill. Luckily MBA refused to go on the reason for being tired in the first place or else no one to drive a car up. Everything were pre-arranged by God.

While waited for the tow truck to reach, the Lees and I went to Coffee Bean, have some drinks, walked around to take some pictures and the rest of them sat on the dark stretch of the roadside somewhere near Gohtong Jaya. MMS’ed them some pictures of us having hot coffee… to tease them and they revenged by a funny video of everyone’s antics. The car owner was surely very sad, tired, regret, whatever.

After settled everything, sent the two female Lees back to wangsa maju and we headed back to the nasi lemak stall in the market. Ken, Daniel F and Teh Tow Kay joined us later. Walloped some huge amount of nasi lemak.

See if “1106″ will strike in 4D.
