Bullshits does matter

So.. we all hear bullshits everyday… be it from someone you barely knows or your family, loved ones, significant half, any tom, dick and harry, whoever. But I thought I was lucky to read bullshit today in the office.
Well, I’m lucky enough to sit next to a printer, a Xerox color printer that is, which print hundreds of pages of pictures everyday. Today while I was flipping to get my pictures, I came across a few copies of the company’s profile. Yeah, they update the company’s profile regularly, everytime there’s meeting with some big clients etc. I even took a few copies of different version home. So, back to the story here. I was flipping through the profile and something caught my attention. The word “Blackberry“. Yeah, I can say my company like to invest in technologies. They would boast about their high-techness shits. In a way, I’m quite supportive in this cause of theirs.
So, there’s a whole paragraph on this Blackberry thingy and as I read the elaborations (the bullshits), I just know it ain’t right to say (or to type) “…we equip and empower all our adjusters nationwide with Blackberry device” !!! MAN, THAT JUST AIN’T FUCKING RIGHT!
Come on bitch, whoever typed that shit, how the fuck can you say the company equipped all of us adjusters with the Blackberry device when everyone of my department (minus the Assistant Managers and above) don’t even have a fucking corporate email address. Everyone else from the personal assistants, typists, call centre staffs, almost every other departments have email (they use Lotus Notes clients) except us in the motor department (except our AM and above) and of course the despatch guys. I wonder if they really gonna show the print (that I read) to the client or whoever, or is it just a draft before the big boss approves it.
Everytime when there’s some memos circulating around (which normally sent in email in today’s world), we’re the one who get it last, or sometime don’t. They will ask someone to print out a copy of the email and give to everyone of us. With loads of papers on the desk everyday, it can be easily overlook and treated as rough papers. Isn’t it nonsense?! Pure stupidity. These days they started to push “paperless” solution for the office operations. (pun really intended).
And I heard that they have unlimited Lotus Note licenses. Now, how hard is it to install a client in our computers and setup a certificate in the server side ?! Sometime when we deal with our clients, it is very embarassing to tell them that I don’t have a fucking endroo_G@mxxxx.com ! Luckily, they still allow internet access and I can use my G mail. Once a broker asked me to give her my email address because she wanna send some documents (in digitized format) to me and I gave her my then Yahoo! address. When I told her, xfroi_G@yahoo.com, she got confused why I gave her my personal email. I then told her we don’t have the luxury of corporate email. Everyone else, even the new harry (hairy?) dick staffs of that other department have it but not us. She said, “Oh… why your company like that one?! I will ask your CEO why your department don’t have email!”. Now look, do we looked like we don’t know how to use an email client? Even my 10 year old cousin use Thunderbird. I use Notes too in my previous employment with no dfficulties.
So, now you know why this blog of mine is known as it is? Bullshit does matter and it can make a big difference in different situations. With this, the bullshits in the form of “Blackberry email devices” does add some spice in the company profile and would help a little to land them a good deal. I wish them luck in bullshitting. Now, you can ask them to fuck off with their bullshits and double standardness coz I don’t give a fuck anymore. Period.
