Arbeit Macht Frei

A very emotional visit of the Pope to Auschwitz-Birkenau where thousands of innocent lives tortured to death. Watching the live telecast of the visit and the Mass on CNN as I type this now. Those who have watched Band of Brothers have the idea of how disgusting it was.

It is certainly a place in my must-visit list.

The Lost Shoe of The G

May 23, 2006 By: endroo G Category: Bloggy No Comments →

Tiu lor. My trendy yet comfy leather shoe is missing. I must have left it at the car park last Wednesday when I came home after futsal. I was tired. I have bags to carry, sweaty wet shirt, newspaper and shoes.

I must have left the leather shoe at the carpark after closing the tailgate of the car and walked up straight into the house forgotten about the shoe. Until yesterday morning, when I was about to leave for office, I looked for the shoe but to no avail. Man, thats a new shoe which was flown in from London. Arrrgggghhhhhhhhhhhhh. Fuck. I wanna cry.

I curse, I curse, I curse the person who took the shoe. He who took and wear the shoe shall suffer from Hongkey foot or athlete’s foot or any other inflamation that would result to the amputation of the feet.

Answers to the teacher’s day quiz

May 22, 2006 By: endroo G Category: Bloggy 392 Comments →

  • Warna kontra” (contrast colour) in Arts Class where Ms. Ruth Lee taught us? (Form 3). What happened in the warna kontra joke? A button at the midriff of the teacher’s dress was undid. And it showed her beige panties. I was standing up reading something to the class when everyone was laughing to themselves and our classmate Gopi (now Dr. Gopi) shouted “warna kontra” because the teacher was wearing a pink dress. At first I didn’t know what was going on and I was like what the fuck… am I reading something wrong ? Why everyone was laughing. After reading, I sat down and got to know from MBA about the situation. The teacher finally realized it and buttoned her dress. Hhahahha.

  • Who was the only teacher that also issue passports? What subject she taught us? Mrs. Kasi. The passport here is the list of the moral values and their definitions. Once you remember all the values and its subvalues and their definitions, you already have a passport to get flying colours for your Moral Education paper.

  • Which teacher was known as The Spider Web ? Cikgu Abdul Rahman. His stale sliver keeps ending up at the side of his lips and it looks like bubbles/webs and thus The Spider Web.

  • Who lifted Zainul upside down (180º), holding only his legs and shook him up and down till all the coins fell out from his pockets? Cikgu Aznam. He lifted Zainul because he didn’t bring his tracksuit/trousers for PE class. This teacher was a mad guy. Imagine if you have long hair, you’ll be sent to the diciplinary teacher… but even sporting a crew cut (not the squarish one), I got hit by a cane on my head by this mad teacher. Fuck.

  • The bitch who on the first day of a science subject class in Form 4, gave us an opening fuck the moment she stepped into the class. We don’t even know who the fuck was her, first time she came into the class, we already kena fuck for reason that we don’t even know till today. What subject did that bitch taught? Biology.

  • Who was the rose of SMIH? Cikgu Rosman.

  • Which 2 teachers broke into war of words (fuck each others) at along the corridor of the teacher’s room (Block A and we’re in the science lab at the ground floor of Block B) in a very damn quiet afternoon during an exam/test. (Hint: they are non-Malay) Mrs. Toh and Mrs. Saraswathy.

  • Who was Cikgu Apple? She was a temporary Maths teacher who drove the guys nuts… as in going after her, thinking of her, asking questions they already know.. just to get near her. You know what I mean.

  • Who threw unfinished homework exercise books straight from the class in 2nd Floor down to the fish pond below? Mej (B) Rasid. Yes… that retired major is the gruesome History teacher. Everything goes with military precision.

  • Our classroom, the science lab, was turned into ping pong arena (because of the big tables for science experiments) everytime after each subject period and recess time. Which teacher played ping pong with us in the science lab ? Pn. Fathiyah. Our Accounts teacher. The most sporting teacher in the school.

  • This teacher was the only one permitted Melvin and Zainul (The Jumbo and Mice) to bring along their text books or reference books into exam halls. What was the reason behind this? What subject she taught us? It was Additional Maths. Why? These fellahs can’t even get above 10 marks when they were caught last exam for cheating by copying from a book. The teacher said “Given a book, they can’t even get it right.. so who cares if they have a book for the Add Maths paper.”

Ok. There you go.

Mr. Yong Tau Foo

May 22, 2006 By: endroo G Category: Bloggy 3 Comments →

Yo, the weekend been rather normal. Aeroplaned (FFK’ed) TTY, Ken and the others for the movie Poseidon at Berjaya Times Square all because of the pesky TTY. I told him I will go to his place and we all travel in his car and he started to give me shit excuses etc to not ride with him. I got so fed up I sent him a sms an hour later.

That nite ended up feasting at Restoran Talipon, Old Kuchai Road with MBA couple, CY, Daniel F, Lee and Soon Keong. After the dinner, they movie buffs called for yamcha at BBS Stadium. Went the to drop something for choki first and asked Lee to tell them I will be going back there after sending those in my car home. Tired after the feast. So after sending CY, Lee and Soon Keong home, Daniel F and I wnet back to the eatery only to find everyone’s gone home. What the fuck?! Called and ask TTY, he said.. “Oh sorry, I forgot and was a bit tired already.” Fuck. Maybe he’s doing it back to me for ffk for the movie.

Fast forward….Sunday, I was awaken by the mobile phone at 12.30pm. Lee called. “Where the fuck are you?” he said. And I was still gathering my bearings, after awaken from a deep sleep.

I’m supposed to be at his place at 12.30pm to ride with him to the yong tau foo shop in Rawang. Drove Mr Bean to tapau lunch, sent him home and I’m off to Selayang. Once reached, hopped into Lee’s ride and went to fetch CY and Daniel F. We reached there first.

Then the rest of them arrived. TTY couple, MBA couple and Ken. Oh well, Ah Woh and his new luscious girlfriend were present too. Yong tau foo is delicious.

What is yong tau foo? It originates from Ampang.. suburb of KL. See here.

Blogging and Commenting habit

May 20, 2006 By: endroo G Category: Bloggy 10 Comments →

Halo, I’m very disappointed with my hommies who read my shits here but not leaving any comments. I’m very sorry to raise this up again.

It’s hard to instil the blogging culture to them. They just don’t like to read. Man, this is sick. Comment make an author encouraged and strive to bring more nice shits.

Blogs is where you get informations prohibited in the mainstream media and get into interactive dialogues and joke around in your comments…… its more pleasurable than reading a book to me.

Here’s some blog sites which is so much livelier… and I’m kinda green with envy because their hommies all really enjoy the blog and they are like some close knit communities, giving away ideas, comments…. its like chatting in IRC. You know.

Teacher’s Day

May 16, 2006 By: endroo G Category: Bloggy 5 Comments →

So, after Mother’s Day on Sunday…. today…. is Teacher’s Day. Happy Teacher’s Day.

Without teachers, I won’t be writing this blog post here now. The schooling years were indeed very happy and sometimes frustrating but its now gone forever. How we wished we can turn back time and get back to school.. back to the carefree days.

The teachers… some were caring, some were jolly, some were shitty, some were as childish as us, some were bastards, some were ……………………… (fill in the blank yourself)

My hommies…. remember these time we had with our teachers at SM Ideal Heights (Selayang) many moons ago? Here’s some questions for you all (those of Form 5 Class of 98′) to answer to test your ‘which teacher’ knowledge and bring back some memories to be cherished.

  • Warna kontra” (contrast colour) in Arts Class where Ms. Ruth Lee taught us? (Form 3). What happened in the warna kontra joke?

  • Who was the only teacher that also issue passports? What subject she taught us?

  • Which teacher was known as The Spider Web ?

  • Who lifted Zainul upside down (180º), holding only his legs and shook him up and down till all the coins fell out from his pockets?

  • The bitch who on the first day of a science subject class in Form 4, gave us an opening fuck the moment she stepped into the class. We don’t even know who the fuck was her, first time she came into the class, we already kena fuck for reason that we don’t even know till today. What subject did that bitch taught?

  • Who was the rose of SMIH?

  • Which 2 teachers broke into war of words (fuck each others) at along the corridor of the teacher’s room (Block A and we’re in the science lab at the ground floor of Block B) in a very damn quiet afternoon during an exam/test. (Hint: they are non-Malay)

  • Who was Cikgu Apple?

  • Who threw unfinished homework exercise books straight from the class in 2nd Floor down to the fish pond below?

  • Our classroom, the science lab, was turned into ping pong arena (because of the big tables for science experiments) everytime after each subject period and recess time. Which teacher played ping pong with us in the science lab ?

  • This teacher was the only one permitted Melvin and Zainul (The Jumbo and Mice) to bring along their text books or reference books into exam halls. What was the reason behind this? What subject she taught us?

So… here’s 11 ….. I mean 12 questions for you all fellow schoolmates of 94′-98′. Enjoy. Happy Teachers Day to all the teachers who have guided us, inspired us, fucked us, caned us, played with us like as if they’re of our age, coached us, whatever. Thanks for all the learning years.

Also not forgetting the teachers in SK Selayang Jaya, who taughts us fundamentals of BM, English, Maths (ie. 1+1= 11), Alam dan Manusia and other subjects.

To that guy teacher from some other Chinese school, who came to our primary school to teach us Chinese pupils… Mandarin. Thank you for the efforts of teaching us bananas Mandarin. I’m sorry that I skipped all the classes but even if i stayed for the lessons, I would’ve been wasting my time only. Don’t worry, I can speak broken Mandarin now… not write or read though. Thanks anyway.

To that Mr. Gan who taught us BASIC programming in Std 2 and introduced us the cult game of that time, Karateka. Thanks for the computer lessons. We are all computer literated today.

Ribuan terima kasih, cikgu.

Happy Mother’s Day

Komunist manifesto

May 10, 2006 By: endroo G Category: Bloggy 3 Comments →

So, we read about the ban on the local produced film Lelaki Komunis Terakhir (The Last Communist) on all major papers. The censorship board have passed it in “U” rating and the Ministry of Home Affairs banned it. Strangely, they didn’t ban Chin Peng’s autobiography. Man, this is really a boleh land. Anything can happen. Anything.

I haven’t watch it and I don’t know if it ever will be available to the public so that we can have a picture of how our grandparents and parents lived the “emergency” years. How was it like during the emergency years. This is very informative and we could learn from the mistakes of the past generations so that it won’t happen again. We don’t want to be like the coward Japanese who write only the glory side of their WWII campaign but not the head chopping of countless innocents. We must let the younger generations (like me) to know the past, the hardship suffered that led to the easy life we all take for granted today.

My late grandfather, who was a police who fought the communist in the jungles in the northern region (Baling?) many many years ago, told us (the grandchildren) before of his days in the thick jungles, etc. We all heard of the stories, but a pictorial presentation will make it even more “etched” into our brains. If this film is well received by the rakyat, it will only make the director & producers feel encouraged and would make more films of some other noble independence fighters like Tunku, Tun Sambanthan, Temenggung Jugah, Donald Stephen (what’s his Islam name?), Sir Tun Tan Cheng Lock and many more. Fuck, how about Sir Gerald Templer ???? Yes, Templer’s Park (near my hometown) named after him. That place was declared “black” area…. because of active communist activities during the emergency. We need to hear both sides of the story. Likewise, we always watch in WWII war films how great the Allieds were… have we seen anything from the Axis? Nazi, Imperial Army ? If there’s any, please let me know. I wanna watch. Serious. Der Untergang ?

The Berita Harian is so racist. The Ministry of Home Affairs is so stupid. They banned the film because of the protests by the public. So why the Da Vinci Code is not banned despite the more outrages and controversies in the papers in Malaysia and worldwide & in the internet. 50% of the Catholics if not 100%(approx. 1 billion) worldwide protested both the book and film. Why is it still being approved and gonna be showing in cinemas this May 18th in Malaysia? Malaysian population is just a fraction of 500 million. They (the ministry) don’t even realized that many Catholics objected the Da Vinci’s Code, do they?

As the director said in his blog, the Berita Harian paper is a conservative newspaper whose cultural politics verges on the ethnocentric and semi-fascist. He may have his point here. Racist. I really wonder if the film is about Rashid Maidin (Chin Peng’s comrade). Would it be approved because En. Rashid is a Malay?!

We all have the right to see what we want, hear what we want and talk what we want. They said this is a democracy country, isn’t it? How can they deprive us from the informations that we ought to know for our better well being in the future, learn the mistakes of out forefathers, bla bla bla. Well, Chin Peng is a Chinese apek. Maybe thats the reason. So, if a film about Yap Ah Loy (the founder of Kuala Lumpur), will it also be a controversy that would lead to a ban? Yap Ah Loy is a Chinese apek too. Without the Chinese, I wonder what would Malaysia be now… oops, I mean Tanah Melayu. There won’t be “Malaysia”. Economy would be worse than Zimbabwe. So, if some quarter of the population object the film (The Last Communist), just don’t fucking show up at the cinema and boycott all the DVD, VCD, VHS, Torrent, Podcast, AVI, Real, MPG, BluRay, HD-DVD etc etc versions of the film (if they are to distrubute to the masses). Now because of some racist, we can’t attend history lesson. What the fuck.
