The death of a drain fish

March 16th, 2006 21 comments

Yeah… drain fish. Ikan longkang. Got a these fishes during CNY to amuse little Laurence while he was here. No one plays with him when all the other kid went home after pai nien. So my mom bought these fishes (17 fishes). Furthermore, its for some feng shui purposes. Getting a bit superstitious.

All the fishes grown very fat compared to the time we just bought them. I fed them every 2 hours (if I’m at home) and they enjoy supper and late supper (sometime 1.00-2.00am before I sleep) everyday. But yesterday mom told me that after she changed the water during the day time, 4 fishes died minutes after that. Strange. Is it because of water contamination? Chlorine overdose? Well, I don’t put anti-chlorine. They survived more than a month. Why only now they die? Strange.

Later at night, when I came home (mom was out), I saw another 2 zombies in the aquarium. I took if off with my hand and instructed Mr. Bean to open the door. He obeyed. Then I went downstairs with the 2 dead fishes and fed the mother cat (see the previous post). While the mother cat was eating a fish, the kitten came up for the other fish. I pushed it away in a blow and it flew a 1.5ft away. Then the mother cat came up and gobbled up the 2nd fish. The mother cat should eat so that she can produce milk for the kitten.

Its now only a kitten left with the mother cat. The other 2 kittens as you can see in the picture (also in previous post) are missing I guess. Or maybe they’re dead. :) Haha. Or maybe someone cat-napped them (IT’S NOT ME, OK). Please bear with me with all this kitten stories. I just hate them. *I’m a crazy guy at times*

Ok, fucking off. Wanna go and disturb the cats.

Bloody cats

March 15th, 2006 7 comments

Just when I saw these cats, I mean the mother cat and the kittens… lingering around my apartment block, my long lost hatred to this particular species of the felidae family came back all in a sudden. I don’t know why. I just hate these cats. Sorry to some of you reading this post who might just have a cat at home, who loves cat more than LiEw, etc. I don’t mean to be like this but maybe this is somekind of karma. Maybe I was a rat in my past life, of which was tortured by some cats or even worse, eaten by cats. Now in this life, its payback time, I just wanna make life harder for the cats…. to be exact the kittens, actually. Now at this age, I’ll only disturb the kittens. Only my cousin knows how many kittens we’ve tortured… or perhaps slaughtered when I was 6 or 7 years old and he was 4 or 5 years old. Ramos (not his real name), if you’re reading this… please leave a comment. Remember the drains in the alley? *No connection with Alley Cats please.

The cats cannot be seen these few days. That day I kicked that black/dark grey kitten (see the picture). It was sleeping/snoozing on the staircase when I reached home quite late the other day. I looked around, up & down and it’s mother and the other two siblings were not sighted to which delighted me very much. The kitten was not aware of my presence as I said it was snoozing. In two blinks of an eye, I kicked or should I say flicked that fucking kitten from the staircase to the floor… from about 3-4 steps up from the floor. After the flick, the kitten was awoke by the act and just frozed. Just like when someone slap you while you’re fast asleep and once you’re awaken, trying to figure out what the fuck is going on. Looking at the kitten was so entertaining when this euphoria strucked me. By the way, I thought of cat-napping the kitten(s) and presenting it as an amusement for the 7 doggs of Lee’s immediate neighbour. Then the doggs won’t be so noisy and his parents (Lee Sr.) can have a good night sleep.

I read an article published in either The Star or The Sun (I can’t remember) a week or two ago about this Chinese woman (in China of course) who crushed the kitten’s head with her stiletto heel. It really made my day after reading the article. I never heard of anyone with such degree of fanciness to this shit. The pictures tell n words.

So, before anyone who’s affliated with some SPCA or SPCA-styled shit coming over me, I just wanna say, lets have some fun. Well, if any of you have kittens at home, please let me know if I ‘m going to your house. I don’t want this uncontrollable villain in me do havoc in your house which may mar our whatever-ship. Rest assured, as this is only harmful to kittens. Any other pet(s) of yours is safe even a fat domestic cat (grown up cat).

FUCK ALL THE DISGRACED FUCKING ULAMAS

March 12th, 2006 6 comments

Saw this very disturbing banner yesterday evening when I was going for dinner at PJ. I was waiting for the traffic light to turn green when I saw this fucking banner.

This banner situated at the crossroad (under the flyover) coming from Sg. Buloh where you turn right towards LDP and left towards Techno Discotheque.

“Terima kasih kepada kerajaan Barisan Nasional kerana menaikkan harga minyak.” It simply means -> thanks to the Barisan Nasional government for increasing the fuel price. Barisan Nasional is the alliance of a few political parties that formed a powerful coalition. I can’t see who’s the responsible party behind this stupid banner but surely they are some of the country’s most disgraced motherfuckers of all time. If you take a closer look the picture, you can see they are some “…..ulama pelapis negeri Selangor”. I will keep you all informed if I manage to spare some time to go and take the shit down personally.

World Cup: A shattered hope

March 11th, 2006 No comments

So… I was mislead by the newspaper today. Last Thursday, read about the arrival of the FIFA World Cup (that trophy) in KL (Berjaya Times Square). On Wednesday, it was opened only for the fucking VIPs (very idiotic people) and it was available for the public viewing from Thursday onwards. Fixed a date with Lee & Nicole to see the Cup just now after work… after 1.00pm (Saturday).

Went to Times Square, have our lunch and then looked for the “Manhattan Ball Room” as what the paper The Sun reported. We couldn’t find it and we asked a guy at the information counter to assist us.

G: Excuse me, Boss. We want to see the World Cup. How do we get there??
Info Guy: Oh, I’m afraid you gotta catch the next available flight to either Bangkok or Jakarta to see the Cup.
G: What???!! What the fuck?!
Lee: Huh?! What is this, G?! You bluffed me… fuck.
Info Guy: It was available for 1 day ONLY. That was Thursday. Ha. Anything else?!
G:Ok, thanks. May the Force be with Deutschland.
Lee: England boleh !!

[*walked off*]

Why is it only available on Thursday when everyone is working??? I geared up with my DFB jersey, with a hope of getting a glimpse of the coveted Cup of Life…. but thats what they did to me. Its a very stupid action to set the viewing time to weekdays. I don’t mind if they impose an entrance fee of, say RM2.00 (not more than that please). I am willing to pay just to see the Cup and take a picture of it. I can’t afford to go to Germany to watch the finals, even if I do, I won’t get any chance to see the Cup. So this was supposed to be a very lucky chance but its now no more. Fuck. Lets wait for another 4 years.

Why we blog ?!

March 11th, 2006 2 comments

When I moved to Blogspot, I only realized how retarded that Friendster’s blog was. So, why do we blog? I may be a little bit late to catch up with the addiction (blogspot been in the scene for I think since Linux kernel 2.0 or maybe a little earlier) but its part of life and its a place to write out shits and occupy my time rather than reading the newspaper in the toilet for 3 hours (now only 1.5 hours).

The business here at this blog is far better than the Friendster blog of mine. Thanks to the links from keeykeey, I got some new readers and more feedbacks/comments from them. They are kind of a people who take their blogs seriously, well, like me. They keep up with the happenings of their hommies through blogs. All their hommies do blog.

How I wished my hommies blog, as regularly as them (liewxxx or keeykeey’s connections). Share their daily happening(s), new eating place they went, how fucked up is the office, etc etc. Something, anything. A photo and a small caption will do. A picture tells a thousand words and some say a million words. Thats fucking true.

Imagine if Ng blogs, he would be publishing his safari trips in Africa where lions whack (eat) horses, cannibals whack the civilized or about his African colleagues’ comment on the Gudang Garam Surya, et-cetera. YY would be writing about the days she been through after the London bombings, about that we could’ve seen her live on CNN/BBC where she was at the vigil in Trafalgar Sq or maybe her Paris trip last Christmas/New Year. Yea Chern, MBA (that’s Masters in Betting Administration, mind you) would be publishing his get-rich-quick investment journals, Lee with his football analysis comparable to Sherby’s (Singh) or perhaps sometimes about his lust for weird but nice food. Sean would’ve been updating us on pictures of his new house from the day before it was demolished and rebuilt to the one now which we finally saw last weekend. Yip would’ve told us about his car ’98 Subaru Impreza, his Powerbooks, his journeys across the United States of America to carry out his work or trip with his girlfriend etc. These are just to name a few persons….. some others do blog but very they update it 2 months once. :(

As we are all seeing each other less nowadays due to work, family commitments, staying far away or just sick of seeing that person everyday, this is a good way to keep others well-informed about yourself. At least, when you all meet, there’s something to start a conversation or, for those who are away for quite sometime (ie. overseas), there’s a chance of a gap (or some shit I don’t really know how to describe) between you and I because of not seeing each other for a long time. Sometimes, we are a bit lazy to craft an email, let alone reply it. Not like a blog, where you can just chip in a line of comment and stay in touch in that way. A more flexible way I’d guess. We can roughly understand a person’s character through their blog, I’d guess, again.

Enough. That’s all I wanna say. Hope you all understand what I wanna say. Please drop by an URL (in the comment section) for your blog if you blogs. Negara Ku, tanah tumpahnya darah ku, rakyat hidup bersatu dan maju…… bla bla bla bla..

Ok, good nite.

Hommie in office

March 7th, 2006 6 comments

Don’t get any close friend or hommie to work in the same place. Thats my advice. You’ll regret it. Trust me. I’m now very pissed off at times. Something happened this morning. I was so pissed off and fucked him, Basket. Argghhhh. You know I don’t fuck people for no reason… sometime they gave us no choice.

I was taking a bath yesterday morning…. when the cellphone rang. He kept calling a few times in a row. About 5-6 missed calls. He know I don’t wake up so early but this morning I woke up a bit early. I then washed my hands, cleanse the soaps and walked out of the bathroom, naked, took the phone and called him.

G: Halo, what the fuck? (in a very angry tone)
Basket: Yo.. why are you not picking up phone?
G: Maka chau hai nei ah**, I’m taking my bath !!!! What the fuck??
Basket: Eh, is this TP workshop* near CL workshop*??
G: Yes ! Just 2 doors away ! You don’t have any other colleagues besides me to ask??? (in a very fucking angry tone).
Basket: No lah, ask you better mah. By the way, wanna go breakfast ?? I come over to your place.
G: I’m in a hurry to office. You help yourself ! Anything else?? I’m taking my bath. Ok. Fuck off. (in a very very angry tone)
<<*Hung up*>>

Before this, he used to call me very early in the morning… before 8.00 am and I’ve warned him. Some of you may say he did nothing wrong. Yeah.. right. I’ve told him many times, not to call me before 9.30am let alone before 8.00am where the official office hour starts at 8.30am. I don’t even take light breakfast, well, just a cup of coffee to start the engine running. He knew it. Thats my style. I know by right, 8.30am is the start of official working hour… but as a friend can’t you compromise a bit and call me after 9.30am ?? Unless there’s a very fucking urgent case or something, that you need an immediate answer, but this is already overboard. Also.. this guy a psycho. He wanna come to Sri Damansara from Selayang for breakfast and then he gotta go to Ampang. Whoa…. he must have not seen the rush hour jam. Sohai.

So, don’t fix your close friend to work in the same company as you. They will bug you for the rest of your working days. They will ask you things they shouldn’t be asking. They will try to be clever when they are not. When they are in deep shit, other colleagues will ask you why you recommend such a person into the company. And especially if they (your friend) would talk without using their brain, please be careful. These fellahs will say things that shouldn’t be said in the office (in case there’s an eavesdropper lurking somewhere in the office)… worse… in aloud. Fuck. They might get some other colleagues in deep shit as you know, there are politics in the office. You won’t know who’s who… who are the human and who are the ghost. And especially if you’re working in a very sensitive job (ie. investigators).

Don’t be like me.

*Some vehicle collision repair centre in Ampang
** A harsh Chinese profanity

I like to move it move it (x2)

The yard in Sean’s house. (Picture taken on my SE P900)

So.. this morning went swimming at Casa Mila, Ideal Heights with Sean Jean, Michelle, ChiaYee and Sean’s bro, Julian. Striked 8.48 am, I’m already in the pool doing doggy style.. Damn… I don’t even wake up this early on a working day. Anyway, its good and healthy since I have a three-months. After swimming, had a light breakfast. The delicious nasi lemak with rendang daging (beef dry curry) with extra rice at the Selayang Jaya (my hometown) market. Yummy.

After breakfast… or should I say brunch, went site seeing. First, went to Lee’s new houses at Selayang Heights. His parents already there, yeah… what can 2 retirees do on a Sunday afternoon. Despite the fucking hot glaring weather they couldn’t care much and were so excited with the upcoming new house. Damn… his parents bought 2-unit of apartments of different phase/design. We’re all fooled again. Thats 2 (two) units man. Though its not ready yet but its a very nice place with swimming pool, gymnasium, saunas, etc. Hilly area. Pinggiran Templer. He will be shifting-in around July-August. He told me we gotta help him on moving day. Sure.. no prob…. but there’s extra work. Some of his stuffs mainly cupboards, tables, king size beds etc would not fit into the smaller house…. so all these we gotta help him to shift to Nicole’s place at Wangsa Maju, Genting Klang… a 5th floor (top) flat. No lifts. Now this is shit. Fucked him and asked him to dismantle the stuffs if possible, before moving. By the way, wanna know why his family want to shift away from the current place ? Check out these dogss, man. But now the dogss’ house is for sale (with all value-addeds: the foulest stench in the neighbourhood). Lee have got no more strength to fuck anymore after knowing about this news. They wanna shift because of the doggs and now there’re about to shift, the doggs’ gonna move away too. Ayoyo.

Then we went to see Sean’s new bungalow in Mutiara Homes, Mutiara Damansara. Walking distance from The Curve. He would’ve shifted in time to celebrate Chinese New Year there but there were some misfortunes that happened. The water tanks leaked and I mean 2-3 tanks of very huge tanks. Gallons of water gushed down to the rooms to the upper hallway to the staircase to the dining area…. all the floorings are timber flooring. Wall cabinets, beds, etc have to be done again and therefore delayed for moving. Nevermind, “chee loong yap sui” (kandang babi masuk air / “water went into the pigs pen”). Man… you gotta check out his landscaped yard with the fish pond for kois (japanese carps). The house we saw is a version 2.0. By that, I mean that the house is not the one of the originally built by the developer of the township. The original one was whacked/demolished down to… only the main pillars left and was rebuilt from scratch. Furthermore, its a corner lot. Yo, this is real estate.

From Sean’s new house, we proceeded to Chia Yee’s new house at Kota Damansara…. the part near the Kota Damansara exit of the North Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE), and name of the place, Seri Utama. We didn’t stop and go into the house. We just passed by and its a double-storey link house. Chia Yee didn’t bring the keys as we suddenly decided to go there. Gated community. Not bad… I see a lot of Chinese stays there.

Choki will be moving to Mastiara, Ipoh Road. Also heard Towkay Teh will be moving to Desa Park City… somewhere near Manjalara, Kepong. Ken? Ken will be moving to Kepong Prima. Yeah… can always ask him for bak kut teh (pork in herbal tea). Thats the Malaysian most-loved non-halal fast food. Anyone else? Hmmm… now dAniEL also thought of seeing a lot (lot as in a lot of 1 acre land).

Well, looks like a lot of people moving away from hometown. Yeah, its time for a change. People need some new environment, start a second chapter of life, get out of the crowded area and earn some bucks selling the ever demanding properties in the fast-paced growing West Side of Selayang… land of the Idealian. More info on this (properties) should be referred to this macha, Lingesh. They’re the professionals. Now with a few moving away from hometown, the frequency of travelling to Selayang for a drink or for a meal, would be lesser. Because of the majority are staying in Selayang and I’m the only one staying somewhere in a distant, I’ve gotta travel to meet them rather than they come over to my place. Well, there were few times that they came over though. So, now, those who gonna be shifting to this side of the city (Kepong-LDP-Sg.Buloh)
, will join me in demanding the hometown guys to come over this side for meals, drinks, outings etc. Haha. Reinforcements.
