Prices UP, Badawi DOWN ????
Whoa…. these people protested today at KLCC this afternoon after the Muslims done with their Friday prayers. These pictures are not taken from Google Earth and its courtesy of choki and was taken from her office on the 47th floor of the Petronas Twin Tower. I was totally not aware of this shit or else I’d be one of the rioters blowing whistle thereat KLCC. I went to Shah Alam at that time.
From the pictures, we can see that the banner put up by the protesters reads “Harga Naik, Badawi Turun” (Prices up, Badawi down). The Federal Reserve Unit (FRU) personnels were all over the places. In case some of you don’t know whats going on here…ok, the fuel price was increased on 28th Feb and here they protest/riot. Badawi refers to our Malaysian Prime Minister, Dato’ Seri Abdullah bin Haji Ahmad Badawi. Now, these rioters want the PM to step down/resign/sacked whatever… hmmmmmm.
So, will the protest bring any benefit to the rakyat (the people) especially the middle-class income people? Hope it will reflect in our salary or else it will cause more inflation and even corruption. They said they could save millions if not billions on the fuel subsidies… and the money saved will be used to improve infrastructures, developement et-cetera. This deja-vu seems to be very happening eh. I’d bet some of the money will end up in the hands of some fucked-up money politicians, someday somewhere. Corruption will prevail and salaries of the working-classe remain. Many of you should’ve know why by now….. don’t you? Don’t you ????

Look at the crappy public transport…
Case Study 1:
How far is 1 Utama from Bandar Sri Damansara or Bandar Manjalara (Kepong) ???????? Is there any bus goin there ??? You gotta get to KL to take another bus to got to 1 Utama.
Case Study 2:
How far is Desa Jaya/Taman Ehsan from Selayang Utama/Selayang Jaya ????? Any bus going there ?
Case Study 3:
Light Rail Transit (LRT). Isn’t it they should form a unified consortium to run the shit? Why must have few different operators and one is operating in loss?!
Case Study 4:
Malay area no expensive highway toll to pay or at least they have free exits from a certain stretch of the highway. Chinese area sure got highway, toll etc…. look at the New Pantai Expressway (NPE). And also.. ever wondered why the Middle Ring Road (MRR2) from Kepong all the way to Seremban Highway got no tollgate? But why Sri Damansara to Bandar Utama gotta pay RM1.00 toll for a distance of less than 5km.
Thats enough of case studies for today. We’ll continue sometime in the future.

i don’t see any buses coming to the main road outside my section of the residential area at all. but around 10yrs back, buses were actually taking that main road as their main route. so tell me where did all the money go? deep pockets and deep throats… if ya know wut i mean.

In response to case studies on crappy public transport…
Case Study 1:
How far is 1 Utama from Bandar Sri Damansara or Bandar Manjalara (Kepong) ???????? Is there any bus goin there ??? You gotta get to KL to take another bus to got to 1 Utama.
TRUE BUT NOW THERE’S A NEW RAPID BUS (TRUNK LINE #T86) BETWEEN METRO PRIMA AND 1 UTAMA VIA MANJALARA AND JEJAMBAT SRI DAMANSARA.
Case Study 2:
How far is Desa Jaya/Taman Ehsan from Selayang Utama/Selayang Jaya ????? Any bus going there ?
NOW THERE IS A RAPID BUS (LOCAL FEEDER #229) CONNECTING METRO PRIMA KEPONG AND SELAYANG, VIA MRR2 WHICH PASSES OUTSIDE OF DESA JAYA AND TAMAN EHSAN. IF YOU WANT TO GO DEEPER INTO TAMAN EHSAN, YOU CAN TAKE THE LOCAL FEEDER #211 FROM METRO PRIMA KEPONG.
Case Study 3:
Light Rail Transit (LRT). Isn’t it they should form a unified consortium to run the shit? Why must have few different operators and one is operating in loss?!
RAPID KL COMBINES EX PUTRA AND EX STAR ALTHOUGH I AGREE, THEY SHOULD INCLUDE MONORAIL AND KTM KOMUTER TOO, AND IF POSSIBLE, KLIA TRANSIT.
